Perhaps it could be as written - the entire movie she's the POV and narrator - she's hardly ever in the the story because we watch the movie as HER.

I've never done it, but here's what I think I'd do: Put painters tape on the soles and any place you don't want painted and paint in very thin layers - You can always paint another layer if it's not dark enough, but it's way harder to take away colour. Good luck!

Yea - they are so pretty. I'll be wearing them this summer when I head to India for my best bud's wedding! I'm planning on recycling my wedding outfit too - there's so many functions that I don't have enough fancy clothes to wear.
