I think he’s just being polite. He has the same look on his face as I have when people show me pictures of their kids.

I hardly lost any weight when I had mine done and the recovery wasn’t pleasant, not to mention all the orthodontia.

I had mine done for an overbite as well. It’s been years and I still have little feeling in parts of my gums. I lost hardly any weight though. I only had to be banded shut for a short amount of time though.

It really just depends on your hair type. My hair is super dry, coarse, and curly. It doesn’t absorb much oil or moisture. It doesn’t get drenched when I sweat. Even if I’m in the rain, it would have to be pouring for my hair to start looking wet. If it’s only raining a bit, the moisture just sits in beads on top of

CNN asked her lawyer if she would be willing to take another job with the airline. After avoiding the question three times, she finally said that she shouldn’t have to. I take that as a no.

It wasn’t a formal agreement with the higher ups. Apparently her supervisor just told her to work it out with whoever she was working with on each flight.

It’s a small regional airline. The aircrafts seat like 60 people and just do short routes. I doubt there’s a food cart. There might not even be a drink cart. They probably hand carry trays of drink orders.

Yes, and the informal arrangement was only going on for two months. It sounds more like “try working it out and we’ll see how it goes” than a true accommodation agreement.

It goes on to say:

It was actually only two months and then they realized it wasn’t working.

Per the CNN report, the “agreement” was basically for her to work it out with the others working with her on each flight. That lasted just two months before someone got fed up and complained. I would consider that less “reneging” and more trying it out and realizing it wasn’t working.

This article says she would do other duties, but I haven’t seen that expressed elsewhere or any details about the agreement. In fact, the HuffPo article cited and the CNN report just say that she was supposed to work out an agreement with the other flight attendants. CNN said it was even on a flight by flight basis.

I’m glad to see someone with first hand knowledge chiming in.

I appreciate that you’re worried about your coworkers, but ultimately, you have to take care of you. A soul-sucking job isn’t just soul-sucking. It can actually be detrimental to your health, both mental and physical.

Wow, that’s crazy. How did they expect to cover everything else if the spent so much time on the Civil War? It really just goes to show you how where you grow up and skew your view of history and affect your attitudes for the rest of your life.

I was 16 at the time. I don’t even know if I was aware that health inspectors existed yet.

I would love to get taught history by a former spy!

I’m jealous. Your school sounds very good. I was fascinated by an exhibit of the Terra Cotta soldiers when I was in Italy. It examined the parallels between the Qin/Han Dynasties and the Roman Empire and how incredibly influential they both were. Going just by what my school taught, China may as well have not existed

I don’t really like going “dutch”, but I do like when there are segments to the date I can pay for. Like if we go to dinner and a movie, I would offer and totally be okay paying for the movie.

Instead, he physically grabs this girl who is about 95 lbs (literally half his size) by the arm and snatches the car keys out of her hand. He then proceeds to throw them in the Awesome Blossom batter and DEEP FRY her car keys.
