Because everybody wanted a second Season 2, after all.

God, I would love nothing more than to see Backes and his merry men make the Hawks cry in a week or two, but the NHL has hated St. Louis for whatever reason for as long as I can remember

Only the second time I've seen hockey mentioned on this site and it's about the Bruins? Impossible not to take it a little personally guys.

Holy Shit Islanders Pride. Too bad he's out for the next month or so.

I've only been to lecture once this semester; take that ITT Technical Institute

I actually remember My mom playing this in the car all the time when I was a 6th grader; so obviously I listened to the jimmy eat world track until the disc wore down. This is a great compilation, despite the Jack Johnson presence.

Fade was one of my MVP's last year; that album was near perfect. Beat Your Ass has Beanbag Chair and The Weakest Part, though, which gives it the slight edge. The only real album I can say is weaker than the rest is popular songs honestly.

The fact that everyone has their own list of "essentials" says far more about Yo La Tengo's consistency than the lists themselves. Holy fuck who let them be perfect for 30 years.

Yeah… there was an interview John did with a guy from Pitchfork about that; The interviewer said something along the lines of "it's a little too sad for me" and John responded with "I hope your girlfriend breaks up with you; then you'll get it".

Another victim of the Eddie Murphy school of comedy

John Darnielle the person is just as amazing as John Darnielle the Mountain Goat. Plus you get Jon Wurster, so diddly dee, a concert life for me.

The only game I am familiar enough with to (properly) speedrun would probably be SSX3… but in all honesty breaking down something as personal as a favorite video game to a science always seemed like it would somewhat diminish it.

Little disapointed there's no Hockey here; I thought the Rangers somehow failing to score off a single one of there 10+ powerplays against pittsburgh was far more entertaining than the NFL schedule.

I'm into it.

Yeah… the Bronx has Fordham, Brooklyn has Pratt, etc. That's just the area that comes to mind first.

The Respectable Doctor's Hype:
Godzilla (Half legitimate hype, half to spite roland emmerich)
Snowpiercer (Yeah! Oh, Yeah!)
Boyhood (Hopefully a theater will show it? Somewhere?)
Leprechaun: Origins (The closest worthy contender to Prianha 3D's throne)

Pretty sure this scenario runs true for the entire city of Boston, the annoying parts of the lower east side and most of central Connecticut

I can already feel the collective AV boner rising

Of course Wes Anderson would harness the might of 100+ years of special effects technology to turn a building pink.

Converge is the band that convinced hardcore could be phenomenal; no easy feat, seeing as most of the bands at my high school were of the "I'm 15 and hate cops" variety.
