What a devastating story.

How about adding a bit at the bottom with info for the suicide lifeline?

Jeopardy should be a cabinet department, IMO

So do you think they should just shut down Jeopardy! once he’s done? (retirement or otherwise) I thought that nobody could replace Bob Barker after TPIR, and I guess Drew has done an ok job, but this and Pat Sajak/Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune (maybe to a lesser degree) feel like shows you just need to bury

I mean, he’s more than twice my age and probably twice as fuckable as me. So, it could be worse.

You are there to answer some damn questions.

What is “really fucking depressing”?

I know, right? It’s damn-near perfect.

I’m sure this thing’s a giant pain in the ass, but I can’t not love it. Nice price.

Awesome!  It even has a reference to Keith Black!  The internet came up blank for “Keith Black Aerotech”.  I can’t tell you how much you have just done for my faith in my childhood memories.

That comparison is really interesting. I’m particularly impressed by the specific torque—which is much harder to maximize on an NA engine. You can always open up the breathing and beef up the valvetrain and rev for more horsepower, but good specific torque means that your combustion is really efficient.

This loss hurts so much. I really didn’t participate in car anything until finding FinalGear in college. I was dealing with some pretty severe depression at the time (as tends to happen), but through other forum members, I got involved in autocross, found a track to routinely troll in whatever I could find, and then

Now over a decade ago (getting old, aren’t we?) Alex was personally responsible for getting me all the early, awkward episodes and we used to correspond about the show around 2008-2010.

Wait, wait, wait. You’re telling me. YOU ARE TELLING ME. That an issued piece of US military equipment doesn’t work properly in actual field conditions? How dare you. HOW DARE YOU, sir, besmirch the good name of...

If they only ran one loop, they would have gotten their 6.4-mile split across then ran on to the finish line without doing the second loop.

EV is only a stepping stone. Eventually, it’ll come full circle: sun -> solar panels -> electricity -> factory that converts CO2 and H2O to gasoline -> sweet V4 engine in every car.

There’s no bracing for the side bars, at all. And there doesn’t appear to be a cross bar behind the seat either, so the 4pt would have to be mounted to the floor...

EDIT: And this doesn’t appear to be DOM roll cage tubing either.

There is a reason why home built roll cages rarely work right... A force in one direct doesn’t mean you’ll be provided with safety in an opposite direction.
