That’s probably better, as most manufacturers seem to settle around 32-35psi for most passenger cars. But, if you have a chance, call a dealer or service center and ask if they know the manufacturer recommended pressure, then just put it on a notecard in your glovebox. Read more

In this case, it would seem so. Tire pressure is part of tuning/setting the suspension on your vehicle, and affects how it steers and handles in emergency situations. Too much pressure can make it handle differently in unexpected ways. Read more
