Well, I like a lot of other games on it, but it’s actually worth it as a $300 Bayonetta machine. :)

When I was in Japan, most cab drivers wore white gloves as well as a lot of hotel staff. Seemed to be related to certain service industries.
I really enjoyed this game, and know a lot of other people that did as well. I lived with my brother and a couple of friends when this came out, and we played the hell out of it. If I had the means to play it now, I would gladly give it another play-through too. I agree. People jumped on the hate-wagon quickly…
It’s still my favorite. I’m also one of the few people on this planet who enjoys the Mako sequences. The second one was great too, but I would have liked it with surface exploration rather than the planet-scanning mini-game. I’m only just getting around to the third one actually. So far it’s decent, but hasn’t yet…
I must second the Steamworld Dig recommendation. It’s an excellent game. It’s very simplistic, but maintains pacing and advancement pretty much perfectly through the end. I haven’t played Heist, so not sure on that one.
You lost me at “lacked character”. That is the last thing that I would use to describe either game. If anything that is what they both have an abundance of. The art style is distinctive, the characters themselves all have their own kinks, quirks, and Arkane just gets it when it comes to stealth and melee. No other…
Ha, the only game from Ubi that would remotely, possibly, interest me in the last... ...10-12 years or so, and it may never come out. :D
Not sure what happened, but I couldn’t add the last part to my original post. Here’s the rest.
As an artist, he can define and portray his little computer people however he wishes. Just as anyone can criticize how they’re portrayed. That said, if one doesn’t like it, one can easily find something else to play. I’m neither for or against the way he portrays these relationships in his game, but I will defend…
I agree completely. In fact, the new visuals have turned me COMPLETELY off of this one. It just looks goofy, and the characters, while more detailed have less pizzazz for some reason. Instead of having minimalistic style, it has detail now with little to know style IMO. Nidhogg is one of my favorite local co-op…
Are shitty sounding comments still a thing?
I absolutely LOVE RAGE. It had a rough start, especially on ATI/AMD hardware at the time, (so I bought a GTX 460 or 560 whatever was new x60 level card then) and it absolutely flew. The characters are great (though I would have liked a bit more lasting interaction with them after changing locations) the graphics are…
The truth is, that aside from the rough launch (especially on PC) that’s been quickly remedied by patches even, the game is very similar to what was advertised. I get that people are pissed that they can’t find their way to each other, and see each other in the game. This was always a side note (or at least presented…
I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. Sure it has its limitations, but it suits my style of playing this sort of thing. Any game that gives me a decent chunk of freedom ceases to be played the way “it’s supposed to be played” anyway. GTA, Elder Scrolls, etc. I just run around the world, and see what I can do with it, see…
Or John Snow’s wildling girlfriend. :P
Greater good?!?! I am your WIFE! I’m the greatest GOOD you’re gonna get!
If it’s not software, drivers, recent Windows Update, or malware, then I would first open it up and blow out all dust. Sometimes that can cause heat to build up, fans not to spin, etc. Next, I’d suspect maybe the power supply. Lack of clean, proper power can lead to crashes. After that, maybe bad memory module or…
First of all, they are responsible for bringing several very good games back from the dead, and making them run on modern hardware. Second they are obviously very familiar with the series and what it means to people. Third, they have a fully functional demo out the gate, which is very impressive. The direction that…
Not true. Tegra (even on the high end) is a mobile SoC. It’s designed to perform as well as possible within a small power and cost footprint. Provided it’s Pascal so that the performance is actually there, this will likely be cheaper than the AMD APUs would be for Nintendo. Not a stretch at all.
Edit: Realized you weren’t responding to me. However, same thing applies.
