But…They. Get. Big. Movies.

I watched maybe 2-3 seasons' worth of Scrubs (not the first three, either), and, honestly, it struck me as much more consistent than 30 Rock, which (among its dubious distinctions) is the only show on which I have not found Kristen Schaal to be delightful. (Actually, I hated Hazel.) That said, I will never watch Scrubs

I agree. And was she really all that bad, anyway? It may be too soon to mention Ferguson, but I feel like people say shit like that all the time, at least on TV. I don't think we were supposed to dislike her any more than we're supposed to dislike some of the characters on Orange is the New Black. Which isn't much.

Explain!

Poor man's Tarkovsky's Former AD?

Which Enterpriseare we talkin', though? 'Cause I can imagine the Falcon beating Scott Bakula's ship. And maybe the one Cameron captained in Generations. And I'm pretty sure those are the ones we're talking about.

I like her. She deserves a better show than this. I only wish I could say the same for the supporting cast.

Who also voiced the starlet Jay hooks up with in the first Critic episode. What a voice.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I enjoyed both Thors more than the first Avengers, the first Captain America, or the first Iron Man (I still haven't seen the sequels, and I did really like Iron Man, at least). I can't explain it, really, except to say that I've never read superhero comics. I just thought they

Mr. Whipple. He's still totally into toilet paper, but… You know what, Hollywood? It's not my job to write this shit for you.

Ah, you're nuts. And I say this as someone who emptied my entire checking account in the name of a sassy girl detective, so I should know.

I read this as "NYC Subway ads," and thought it was quite a novel strategy for them to go straight from pedophiles to nazis.

I grew up in NY during Pataki's run as governor, and even I had no idea he was a presidential candidate. (My grandmother loved him, because he's Greek — but she's been dead for fifteen years. Sorry, George!)

Hmm. Even as someone who's never seen an episode/film in the franchise, I find it kind of interesting. McQuarrie is the one name on that list of directors that means almost nothing to me, but he's asked back for a second go? I might as well have heard that some random Nickelodeon star was hosting Saturday Night Live

Yeah, no. That was actually about the Food Coloring scare of Easter '85, and its effect on the production and sales of Marshmallow Peeps. (It was a great doc, though.)

I guess I'm showing my ignorance here, but…did Lucas have no part in casting the original film? Because his casting choices would seem to suggest he does understand acting, to some degree. I mean, doesn't everyone do a solid job right out of the gate?

Ah. Interesting. I thought Lucas had more faith in Kershner than that. Still, he clearly wasn't so upset as to demand a re-shoot. But I guess his hubris was already showing by Return of the Jedi, which I believe they only finished a screenplay for after shooting began. Crazy.

It was Kershner, as I say. Kasdan was the screenwriter.

Maybe. But Lucas was smart enough to recognize it as an improvement — or smart enough to let Kershner make the call, or to put him in charge in the first place. And Ford can't be the only one who proposed changes, on-screen or not. So why the hell didn't anyone step up when they were doing the prequels? Or did Lucas

Tastes kinda funky, but hey, it is wet.
