This is not just any E46. It is the special M56 SULEV version. The valve cover is a dead giveaway.

Forget something over here?

Gorgeous car, insane price.

Looking around me, and doing the exchange conversion, this would be the most expensive NA within a couple years of this one’s 1994 in all of Canada (and we tend to over pay for our Miatas). And it’s modded such that it loses some of what makes the NA charming. AND its mods aren’t complete.

Don’t forgot the rolled fenders that point to wider tires at one point. There’s also a Silvia badge on the hood.

Yep, the 240SX body has aged extremely well. Nissan’s uber clean styling was so dead on back then. What the hell happened to them?

There’s so much to look at here. Some of it is your own groin, but never mind that.

the Crackiest of Crack Pipes. I have spent far more time fixing these turds than driving them. Plus, if you want America’s historical least reliable light tactical vehicle, you can get them on government auction websites for about $3500.

NP if you’ve got 46 large to drop on a toy, and no expectation or desire of ever getting your money back. Why does this only have 5,000 miles on it? Old Jaguar Answer: It spent 3 years and 9 months in the shop. Is that still true of the new ones? Somebody thinks it’s worth $44,000 to get rid of it, or $9/mile.

Don’t be fooled by enthusiastic forum fanboys

$1,500 and it’s got pop-up headlights? Why is there even a CP option in the poll?  I don’t care that it doesn’t run. The body looks to be good, the interior isn’t too shabby, and did I mention it has pop-up headlights?  POP-UP HEADLIGHTS!

I’m the kind of idiot who would show up and buy the thing (albeit not at that price, but closer to $6500 seems realistic).

There is no such thing as a good HOA. Only ones that haven’t released their inner evil yet.

Not all HOA’s are bad.  Mine is a rare good one.  And even though we have an RV/boat in driveway restriction, there are a couple doctors living in theirs right now and the HOA is letting it pass.  Even after a few asshats complained.

No interior shots, no mileage, potentially questionably rebuilt engine, Crack Pipe.

The BaT auction includes information that the car had a new speedometer/odometer installed, the old one showing 77k miles and the installed one was done showing 12k miles. The BaT seller included the old odometer with the car, so it’s not like the new seller doesn’t know. The seller is clearly representing the car

Nah. You got a lot more rust here than just a patch over the passenger rear wheelwell.

In case anyone was wondering what his old Bronco build looked like:

2 sticks, dropdown tailgate, 3 rows, no rust, low milage, cheaper than 4runners with 300000 miles. NP. this would be a fun truck.

I don’t understand the massive CP vote here - It’s a running, functioning brown stick-shift wagon for (with a little negotiation) less than $2,000. This is prime Jalop content! At that price drive it until the wheels fall off, it’s probably a hoot.
