The liquid on Titan isn’t water, it’s methane.

It’s uncommon for a game to open with a “supposed to lose” fight, or at least one that isn’t telegraphed as such and clearly incorporated into the story. In Bloodborne, it’s quite possible to beat the werewolf, and if you understand the controls enough to dodge and get in a few hits you might not realize that the…
OK, how do you do bold in Kinja? I can’t figure it out...
“I like a good grinding hole”
I’m disappointed that this isn’t some strange rom-com about a cougar and her harem of boy toys as the impenetrable trailers led me to believe.
It ultimately depends on the fan in question. Some people can’t accept changes to the beloved source material, some are just happy to have an adaptation at all, and some are able to detach themselves a bit to really analyze what’s going on, and one person could well represent all three of those perspectives depending…
As I said elsewhere, this was half liberal shame therapy and half juggalo Silent Hill. It was ultimately really gross and unpleasant, especially the “force a child to watch snuff videos” material. I will stick with the show for now because even the weaker seasons usually have something interesting going for them, but…
Oh, you should totally do it. Zahua gets a companion quest and there is a new quest related to Caed Nua.
These are clearly intended for daddy/son play, right?
Did you pick up the quest from the pregnant woman in Gilded Vale? That’s what the beach is for, primarily.
You can get two characters on your first visit, now. Even though she was introduced with WM Pt. 2, Maneha shows up in Stalwart in Part 1.
“Hey, Mom, I’m gonna take Louie down to the pond dressed in clown makeup. We’ll be back in an hour.”
That is probably the best moment in the game. I love how they very subtly communicate that it’s Lavos menacing Lucca by presenting a (seemingly) immutable moment of horror.
Destiny 2, Warhammer 2 (pre-ordered), XCOM2 expansion, Tyranny DLC, Ultra Sun/Moon, a variety of indies on Switch...it’s a goddamn nightmare.
Since I don’t care for Warriors and love 3D Mario, it’s an easier choice for me.
I only played Chrono Trigger for the first time about...5 years ago? Geez. On the DS. It’s the rare older game that really and truly does hold up perfectly well. Square put out a lot of games like that during the 90s. Are you going to play Chrono Cross after it?
This weekend I will be playing Splatoon 2 and resisting the urge to pick up either the XCOM2 expansion or Mario + Rabbids until later in the month. There’s a ton of games this month, and they are all vying for my attention at a moment when I’m really trying to reign in unnecessary spending.
I dunno, I liked the Rifftrax of it. The part where a guy wearing some sort of sleeve clearly just punches a woman from off screen as part of a rabbit attack is amazing in its crumminess.
The Espers and optional bosses are fun, though. Are you ready to be done with the game or are you jonesing for more of it?
Yes. And as I said, the accompanying patch will be adding in a new ending and is entirely independent of the DLC.
