Yeah, The Bastard’s Wound is a ~10 hour mid-game DLC coming out on September 7, and it will be accompanied by a big patch that adds more voice acting and a “new path to an unseen ending.” The DLC itself is about a refugee settlement, and it will include companion quests for Landry, Barik, and Verse. Yeah, it’s adjustable. I ended up doing it at the end of the game because it does get pretty tedious fighting multi-form bosses who can punish you in ways no others ever even approached.

I’m going to replay it once the first major DLC comes out for it in a couple of weeks. I also picked up the “events” DLC from awhile back, so hopefully all of that—plus the upcoming major patch that will add in a new ending, of all things—will make it a more enjoyable experience.

You might want to wait until the upcoming Tyranny DLC in a week or two. It will be accompanied by a free patch that will add in basically a new ending.

They thought for sure that painting a tunnel on a cliff face would have gotten you!

Hail, Zorp!

I'm going to give it the old college try. I don't comment much here anymore, but the Gameological coverage remains top notch in both content and community.

It was so much fun!

Kids were doing this in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis in 2003.

Operation Genesis was great, and if this is just an HD version of that I'll be happy.

AI is the real problem with Civ VI. It's better than at launch but still not really adequate to keep a game interesting for the duration, at least not at Prince difficulty.
