@Brian E: Yeah, I'd heard that rumor too and if it is true it may be the saving grace of this car. Then all they would need to do is add SH-AWD and since this is just a prettied up European Accord bring a Tourer version over and I'd maybe be interested.

@Mentuss: Maybe Frank plays the Otis role this time around.

@sos10: Above the wheel arches was my first thought. Haven't people been doing that forever with compact pickups? The 48.3 that you mention on the Ford site does make more sense. If you're that close to fitting a 4x8 sheet in there I'd think you'd definitely make sure you got the clearance.

@bigblockautoX: Good to see them find a market where E85 can actually be seen as a success.

@PapaGamer: Yeah, it might not be as powerful as XBMC but I love the combination of my 360 and TVersity. My DirecTV DVR works well with TVersity as well but it doesn't give you the fast forward/rewind features in a movie. And is a lot worse for music. Actually for Music I like the Vista MCE and XBOX 360 combo the

@elwood: Exactly. The fact that people are building a certain type of infrastructure is not going to fix the problems that the automakers have. Their problems will go away if people can get loans, if they have jobs, and if they aren't scared of the economy collapsing. Those things don't require a bridge from LA to

Vanus: Zombie editors. They're not good with the punctuation.

@smalleyxb122: That's actually a trick. The workers usually have their safety vests covered by jackets this time of year. Anyone with a visible vest will be easily noticed as an impostor.

@FromaBuick6: I was just thinking that the Top Gear test track needed more spring loaded traps and explosives.

@acarr260: Our government (well the military) is actually turning trash into energy in Iraq. In addition to the power generated they also don't have to deal with hauling the trash away so there's more savings from that.

@franzouse: They actually go to Renton, not Everett. Everett is just where the big planes are put together.

@Ben Wojdyla: I don't know if its the full one that will presumably run on TV but there is a Yo-Yo Ma version on the Genesis website.

Why is he dumping the clutch and flooring the gas after the Grand National has been smoking its tires for a while?

On the days when my Legacy GT feels a bit too big I'd love something like this. But because I have come to love how much I can load into the back of the Legacy I don't know that I'd actually be able to convince myself to buy the Sportback.

@General Halfshaftery: You mean the banks in Canada don't want to take possession of people's igloos and moose drawn carriages? Shocking.

@driggity: I think this was also the episode where they shamelessly rip-offed the "if old people hate the car it must be cool" segment that James May did with a Honda Element on Top Gear a while back. It was bad enough that I don't even remember the car that 5th gear used.

This was last weeks episode. And I believe the same one where they referred to Tiff as the Stig.

I love when automakers use this cheap ploy. "Look at us, we can make a car go fast on biofuel!" Really amazing work there. Getting a lot of power out of an ethanol blend? Truly groundbreaking.
