Wow, the front of that car looks incredibly different than the front of the Lola concept cars. Actually it looks really different than any of the LMP1 cars.

@Deartháir: I think that I read somewhere that the EcoBoost 6s will use the Haldex system because Ford's in house AWD system can't handle the power of the EcoBoost.

Am I the only one that noticed that the 2010 Camry actually has more HP in addition to getting better mileage? They went from a 158-hp, 2.4-liter to a 169-hp, 2.5-liter. Increased power and mileage is a good thing if you ask me.

Hmm, $125 fee to get employee pricing. Chrysler should just start charging a fee to all their employees too. Might actually keep the company alive. And its not like Ford and GM are hiring.

@driggity: Nevermind. Now I see what you were saying.

@DoctorNine: Day old? Didn't this year's Dakar end over a week ago?

Oh goody! Now I can go to sites other than ESPN and get annoying videos playing as soon as I load the page. How exciting.

According to the latest 5th Gear the Stig is actually Tiff Needell.

@racerx: My point was more that not all dynos read the same. Look at the ZR-1 post linked to in the dragtimes post on this Viper. They've got two stock Z06s measured on different dynos with a 20 hp difference at the wheels.

Really? We're going to take a single dyno run, tack on 15% and call that the true HP of the car?

@SeanKHotay: Other, higher performance cars will sometimes be the same way. The just don't have the power to pull their top gear.

It was nice of bringbacktheSHO to add their watermark to images that they found on the car lounge over at VWVortex.

@The Black Bottle: Its definitely tasty and worth trying and I wasn't trying to dissuade anyone from drinking it. I was just unnecessarily being a stickler.

@damnelantra™: I've been scared of that method of bottle opening since the time I tried to pop the cap off a beer bottle using the top of a brick wall. I thought I had succeeded but actually the cap didn't come off. The bottle ended up breaking just below the cap. I started drinking and only realized what had

@damnelantra™: Stone sure has come a long way since the days of their little San Marcos location, crappy website, and trading Arrogant Bastard t-shirts for video rentals at Blockbuster.

@Cognitive_Friction: Well it is the "green" blog of the NY Times. So it was read by whoever saw this post. Which come to think of it is probably approaching the readership of the Grey Lady herself these days. Good job Jalopnik.

@Ash78: Yep, it would really be nice to see some of these advantages roll down to normal cars. Especially the aerodynamic benefits as those still help those of us with a love of sticky tires. I was really surprised to hear that the Prius has a flat bottom. I'd imagine just that makes a nice improvement in economy.
