More of a tangent about all of the lifted trucks that plague our roadways unnecessarily I guess. A lot of those guys, if they even offroad at all, would be fine with tires and awd. Yeah, the guys in the video definitely needed some different gear, and less of the gear that they had.

He was driving the Jeep!

Comparing the general condition and wear on the Aussie trucks, and your 'merican fullsize with a lift and tires, I would say that the Aussies have way more experience and most likely know a whole hell of a lot more what they're doing. Every time I see a lifted truck driving around, I can't help but think back to one

When you mentioned a twist at the end, I was expecting an old Jeep Wrangler to bound on screen and pull both trucks to safety.

I really like the Young and Dangerous series.

Best parking job ever recorded on film!

I'm sure you would get the same reaction at an Eagles game. Or Phillies ... all the way down to a Freedoms match.

The new concept is to be used to guage reaction, and if the design goes down well, Nissan is likely to build a production version. This production car would be likely to feature the 197bhp, 1.6-litre turbocharged engine from the Nissan Juke Nismo.

That is a low threshold though. I've hated what BMW has produced since the E39 M5. Newest Z4 might be ok, but if I want a German 2-seater, I'm going Porsche.

Except they secretly turned the 3 series into a 5 series. The 2 series will probably be of a similar external footprint to the e46.

Show that photo to a random quasi-car person and ask them if the car pictured is a BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, or Infiniti. Not somebody reading Jalopnik all day, somebody who kind of knows a bit about cars, but not really. The guy in the office who talks loudly about his friend's/in-laws'/dad's Corvette as if it is the

Taillights look more Infiniti G series than BMW

....just thinking that this would make a great "costume" for the office Halloween day tomorrow.

From the Amazon page, "Variable-speed foot pedal helps you reach speeds of up to 12 mph"

oh ho, bravo

Reverse: So what happened in Georgia? Is that just their Southern Pride way of sticking it to the federal government?

I would agree to that. A friend of mine has just such an LS400, and it is still a great car. It is not uncommon to find ones that people bought new and have kept in pristine condition and good repair ever since. My friend bought his from the original owner a couple years ago. He'll take it to the Lexus dealership for

Nice. Maybe an ATLiens video for their win at Petit LeMans now?

At this point, I don't think they can screw it up any more than it is already screwed up. Kind of telling that the final 10 hour endurance race, which originally kickstarted the entire ALMS series, is only getting 1.5 hours of TV time today.

Can't blame you. I'm really glad I didn't make an all-night drive last night after work to make it to the last ALMS race. I was tempted enough to call up my friend across-state and see if he was up for giving it a go and meeting halfway. Every time I see a crowd shot though, I am reminded of the race in 2009 and glad
