Panoz and Grand-AM certainly DP'd ALMS. Really, Atherton and Panoz introduced DP to ALMS, Grand-AM and NASCAR just came in to finish the job since they invented DP and have been giving it to fans for years.

I am a little surprised at your high esteem for shrimp and grits. You got Florida correct at least, and probably ranked pretty fairly. I would have punted the peach pie/cobbler down the list though, probably swapped places with North Carolina.
I would also like to post-humously nominate Song. Song was awesome, but somehow Delta fucked it up. Since then I've had to go with JetBlue and deal with JFK or EWR for my NYC flights. JetBlue is about as good as Song was, but LaGuardia is a much more convenient airport.
JetBlue
I know. It's like the soundbox in my living room that seems to have people living inside of it, but I don't see how they fit since it is so thin. Also what do they eat? It just ain't right.
I can't be the only one whose first thought is "United States Mutant Ninja Turtles" when faced with the USMNT acronym. I'm always disappointed to find it's just our soccer team.
Those guys from Orlando? I'm pretty sure I recognize that intersection at the end.
Will annoys the shit out of me on TV, but I'm having a harder time disliking the guy because of stuff like this.
As awful as those cars were on the track, it's still my favourite livery of the more recent cars.
That's kind of funny actually. I was in Toronto last weekend and the news there was focused on a cat that some airline lost in Vancouver. That and hockey.
...not trying to be argumentative, I just don't run into people that genuinely dislike the stadium. You hear about it all the time that it's out of date, the luxury boxes suck, and there aren't enough of them, but those arguments mostly don't apply for 99% of people. The only thing I don't particularly like is the…
Catwalks, meh...they block some sight-lines for seats that aren't sold anyways, and every once in awhile cause something nutty to happen, but I haven't seen that for awhile.
What's wrong with the trop? It seems like a perfectly fine stadium to me. They need to do something about the turf, but it's always looked like that.
Something like http://www.theadventurists.com/the-adventures…?
This is/was a good series, but not quite what I am interested in seeing. I'll watch it if I notice it is on, or queue up some episodes on the DVR, but I would rather see this same series from the perspective of an "average joe" racer. Somebody who doesn't already have a fortune and a name and who needs to work his ass…
The monetary cost is cheap when you consider how valuable your soul is.
Masochist...surely 417 would be better.
Did anybody at least mention I-75 through GA? I-4 can be pretty bad, but it is at least short, and is decent south/east of Orlando . I-75 through GA is nothing but a straight road with crap billboards every 1/2 mile advertising the next truck stop/massage parlour/chinese food buffet or thanking Jesus for something…
I remember there being a lot of those in DC/N VA. It's because you have a bunch of traffic trying to slow down and jump into the right lane and exit at the same time you have a bunch of traffic in the right lane trying to speed up to join the interstate.
Oh, what could have been. I almost forgot that BMWs used to look good.
