Nice to see a review for the show. It’s definitely worthy of coverage when season 2 comes around. This was an excellent first season. One of the best new shows I’ve seen in quite some time.

One of the worst things about the Trump presidency (ok, maybe not THE worst) is this constant effort to make people think the Bushes weren’t all that bad!

I’ve heard a lot of variations on open relationships, but not that one. Christ.

‘My partner wants me to move in with him and have kids. He also wants an open relationship and to be able to father children for other women if they choose to be single moms. I’m not comfortable with that. How can I express this without blocking him from getting what he wants?’

What kinda of egotistical asshole wants to just impregnate a bunch of women but not raise the kids. I am totally cool with open relationships but the wanting to get woman pregnant as long as they are okay with being single mothers thing sounds like someone with issues.

I haven’t seen it, but I get the distinct impression from the trailer that everyone just kind of gave up.

I feel sometimes for kids who are cast on TV shows and then grow up to be a bit meh. Not everyone is going to be Kiernan Shipka who went from non-entity little girl on Mad Men to giving some wonderful performances. Sophie Turner was a good little Sansa. I’m pretty sure the reason this team-up is never going to happen is that Disney is like ten minutes away from recasting the fuck out of all these characters. In a few years, Turner will be the Andrew Garfield of Jean Greys.

I find it best not to worry about either of these movies.  Feige is surely going to reboot the Xmen into the MCU so I’m not sweating it.  Otherwise I’d be upset about the New Mutants movie because frankly the storyline sounded really cool
