Halsey has had a few hits but yes, I wonder why of all people she got a shot. She’s not exactly known for her personality. Actually she’s not exactly known. Most people wouldn’t be able to pick her our from a lineup

Generally speaking when the music guest is also the host it’s someone pretty well known.   Who the fuck is Halsey and why did she get the rare double gig on SNL?!

It apparently did. If I remember correctly, Faris was of another religion and differences came up after they had their son. One difference was she only wanted one child (and I assume Pratt’s religion says you should have a quiverfull or whatever), and that he had negative things to say about her religion. My guess is…

I need to get better at promoting things

I wonder how it is exactly that Hillsong has had such success with celebrities here in the US. What’s the message they preach about wealth and success? And image? One of my major bones to pick with any Evangelical sect is the willful avoidance of any genuine intellectual engagement. It’s all this self help-y new agey…

I started following him on FB not long after GotG. I got uncomfortable very quickly with how much God stuff he was on about, so I largely ignored him until GotG 2 was more imminent. I hadn’t unfollowed him by the time I shuttered my FB, but if I ever reopen it, he’s history.

So... is anyone else really feeling like his (seemingly sudden) intense religiousity was at least a contributing factor in his divorce? Or at least his sudden need to proselytize? 

Hold onto the fact that Nick Offerman is a stonecold fucking badass and pretty neat dude in real life and let that make up for this supreme let down. That’s what I do.

I’m sorry but EvangeliChris just moved to the bottom of the Chris list. 

But that’s not all they are, which is the point, in my mind.  Chris Pratt is to his religious beliefs seems more like a Tom Cruise to Scientology thing.  Colbert makes fun of the church all the time.

Anna got out at the right moment. That would be a lot. And I’m speaking as someone who was raised in church but got out as soon as I grew up.
