I think my biggest issue with 8 was Lou and Iain. Iain you could tell that he realized he was being kind of an asshole, but with it all already recorded couldn’t really change any of it. And I just never warmed to Lou at all.

I’m a tad worried since, in my opinion, s8 is the worst season by a good bit.  That said, the task at the train station in the first episode is amazing and what got me hooked on the show in the first place.  I also came out of that season with a SERIOUS crush on Joe Thomas.

I already loved Mel going into her season, but my god she is amazing.  My single favorite moment in the whole show is probably “Oh gang.....”
