Makes me think of the Park Tavern accident in St Louis Park not too long ago. I haven’t heard what the cause of the accident was (alcohol, medical event, etc.), but two people were killed, four were injured, and the restaurant’s patio was heavily damaged. The six hit were all in the outdoor patio. I believe one of

Trump and his minions really want their Forth Reich here in America. If he manages to block the certification of certain states and gets back into power, I’m willing to bet that the US will be at war with Mexico by the end of his term...

Unfortunately I have a good understanding of what the workers for White Nationalist Motors are experiencing. Years ago I had to work under a machinist who on the first day said “I don’t like your kind”. Being of obvious mixed European / Native Ancestry I trigger racists simply by existing. When I was listing to audio

Hmm, coincidence?:

I see shit like this and the message it gives me is that Toyota, Ford, and others who have backed down from their stances over LGBT rights cares about getting the business from a select few bigots. Way to go.

As far as Toyota sales... Purely anecdotal... I saw a BRAND NEW Tacoma, broken down on the side of the freeway

Yeah, it doesn’t appear that she was remorseful. That probably played a part. When I’m wrong I find it’s never beneficial to tell someone how much they were impacted by what I did.

Since the cop had the discretion NOT to ticket her, and in most cases wouldn’t have, I’m guessing he gave her the ticket because she was a) incredibly inattentive and then tried to avoid accountability (like in her statements); b) rude to the cop, or c) she didn’t seem competent to drive.

It was for “careless driving”, not “reckless driving”.

This. Imagine she did this at a crosswalk with kids in it.

I’m not saying landmines around the perimeter is a good solution, but I’m not, not saying it either.

What about my Durian fruit and can of surströmming?

Wait, that seatbelt sign is for real? Next you’ll be telling me I should keep my shoes and socks on, not jam my laptop repeatedly into the seat-back pocket, use headphones to watch movies on my iPad, and not bring my fried tuna fish sandwich on board. So much for land of the free, amiright?

Um. It was parked on an AIRFIELD. The airfield was negligent in letting snowmobilers use the field at the same time as letting the military land helicopters there.

He was going 65mph in the dark. Reflectors weren’t gonna stop stupid.

Why does a community engagement vehicle need the police conversion?

Since when? Since they bought this one!

Since when does a police department actually pay for a “community engagement” vehicle? Around me they’re all either cars seized from drug dealers or free surplus MRAPs.

Did he die from radiation poisoning?  <tin hat mode on>

Kind of a disservice to the man to gloss over Cincinnati Microwave. He started that company to build the original Escort raider detector and basically revolutionized the product. Escort was the leading radar detector for a decade before he was pushed out of the company by the board who wanted to make it cheaper

Of note, Cincinnati Microwave became Escort.
