We actually have the largest freight network in the world. If it wasn’t run by shitty people, it would probably be even larger.

The trucking industry, for the most part, broke trucking unions a long time ago.

Shh! If Musk sees this, I’m sure he’ll do it.

MAGA!

St. Louis County. When we moved here a few decades ago, I would consider where I live now better than Westminster, probably on par now. Housing was more expensive in OC than here, but not on the level it is now. The price of a house in Westminster would get something bigger in a a fancy suburb here. Housing has gone

What a dishonest statement you just made.

It’s a very small thing. It was just a very small joke. If cost of living wasn’t so high there, I’d rather live in Westminster than where I do now. The house I grew up in there sold about 3 years ago for almost a million dollars. The same house here would be under $200,000 and it’s a similar or even slightly better

*You’re. ugh.

Ugh, I guess that’s one good thing about not living next door in Westminster anymore.

Quit victim blaming. They had a reservation, that was Hertz’s responsibility.

Victim blaming. They shouldn’t have to do Hertz’s job for them. All on Hertz. They didn’t reserve a Tesla, if Hertz was going to force one on them, they should have trained them as well. Not everyone knows as much about cars as the readership here does, and they shouldn’t be expected to.

If I was still in California, I’m pretty sure I’d be good with this, although I didn’t live in the part mostly affected.

If it’s like UPS, and it probably isn’t, you have two tiers. Whatever tier your on, you get two raises a year. The tiers are renegotiated each contract, normally every 5 years, but we had a 6 year contract once. When I started, you went from the lower tier to the higher tier in about 2 1/2 years, now it’s more like 4.

There was an intersection, Heil and Gothard in Huntington Beach near where I grew up, and the way I rode my bike to school. It had the sensors in the street, and when no cars were there all lights were red. Anything lighter than a car wouldn’t set it off, so bikes and motorcycles had to wait for a car to show up, or

Now playing

He’ll vote for whoever the Democrat is. There is no chance that he’ll vote Republican. He was talking about the slow moving coup for years.

I get that, but there, at least some people pay for what they do, here, they get a slap on the wrist usually. Maybe a noticeable dip in their net worth if we’re lucky.

I’m bummed she’s leaving for her name alone.

My first car was a 1980 Sunbird with the Iron Duke. The subframe rusted out before the engine died. I don’t think the car lasted 100,000 miles.

That’s the one thing I like about China. We should do that here, too.

He has put millions of his own dollars to help Obama and Biden get elected, so he’s not all bad.
