Yeah, that UPS tracker is lame. They know what order the deliveries are in. If they had competent programmers, they could do like Amazon does, and tell you when it’s 5 stops away.

UPS does NOT outsource their delivery, at least to any great degree. It’s all Union labor. They are known to break the contract, and occasionally hire outsiders, but they don’t outsource delivery, other than dropping off a good chunk of their budget Sure Post service to the USPS.

Actually, most pizza, at least in middle class suburbs, is prepaid by credit card. You can prepay whether you phone, or use an app.

If you order via app, you can prepay for your pickup pizza. Technically, door dash, uber eats, etc are pickups. They are picked up by the dasher, and it’s not our problem anymore.

That’s not true. At least some pizza places have deals with several delivery services. The local PJ’s work with at least Door Dash, Grub Hub and Uber Eats as well as having their own drivers.
