No, it’s not. So, basically, all jobs go to the young, fuck the old people?

Large organizations are going to be some level of corrupt. Kick out the corrupt officials, keep the organization.

Then again, it protects old people from being fired, and losing or at least decimating their pensions.

It’s OK when rich, powerful people are corrupt. It only sucks when organizations that protect workers are corrupt.

Gotcha. Not the way it works at UPS, it’s a steady job. Not as good pay as the UAW, but you aren’t going to get laid off either, not these days, and even in the past, it would only be incredibly low seniority people for a few weeks after their first peak season, and never again.

Your reading comprehension is poor. You clearly don’t know how UPS, the single largest private employer of union workers in the US works, yet you continue to have fact free moronic takes on union jobs.

The UAW is a temp agency? I don’t understand.

While amusing, most of the actual damage is done in the hub by invisible workers, not the drivers.

How so?

UPS actually told The Teamsters to take over healthcare and pensions. They didn’t want to deal with it anymore.

But, but, I thought Jalopnik only posted pro union pieces!

The USPS was sabotaged by current Postmaster General, appointed by Trump.

It’s sad how often this clip is an appropriate response to a topic.

As I replied to you in a different comment, the current Post Master General, the former head of a minor USPS competitor, appointed by Trump, has sabotaged the USPS. Google it, there’s plenty on the subject out there.

Ugh, your.

The USPS was sabotaged by Trump and his Postmaster General.

UPS drivers are supposed to hide packages if possible. At my home, the USPS and FedEx don’t give a shit. Amazon, it depends if the driver reads the instructions or not. I’d say at least half of them hide packages behind the hedge in front of the porch as requested. I even saw one put it in plain sight, look at his

Eh, that’s not what UPS is known for, although they’ve had to tone it down recently both by Union contract and by recent realities.

Small price to pay for how much more money you will make over your life than a FedEx driver.
