Geez, Dowd; how can you not appreciate Ti West's contribution to V/H/S? It was a twisty little shock piece. With a long shot that tortures the audience while two characters lie prone and ignorant.
I don't know if I've ever read a film reviewer who seemed to actually like less the medium he's dedicated his life to

"Mickey Rourke was easily the highlight of that movie [Sin City], so it’s nice to see that Rodriguez and Miller have found a way to work his character back in."
…and this is what happens when you let someone who is unfamiliar with the source material write the blurb.

Upvotes, I guess.

Because winning a comment thread is important.

That's funny because you took my comment but plugged in my handle instead of the initial subject of my comment which was this article.

I would say that Mona Lisa is what made him internationally known. What with the Oscar nod and all.

This Leprechaun gimmick has rendered this article unreadable. It stopped being funny after the second entry.

You can say that again.

The problem with making a Booster Gold movie is that he's a terrible, terrible character.

My money is on more people knowing him as Moriarty from that Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock movie, then.

Because he's a working actor who has done things since then.

I wonder how Jared Harris would feel about him being referred to as "Mad Men's Jared Harris". A show he left two years ago.

This is dumb and a waste of time.

Well, you better unsubscribe now! Because that somehow makes the super cheap price that it is at now not worth it, apparently.

That Batman Beyond clip is great!

Because a songwriter's personal life has anything to do with their song's merit.

I'm sure this comment thread won't devolve into people complaining about individual titles they think Netflix should have scored or kept.

Please tell me which cable package is $10/month.

Now this is a great write-up!

I wonder if Dowd's coworkers are all, "ugh. Please don't say 'we', Dowd, like the rest of us are behind you."
