There’s no real legal bar on what is or isn’t considered a religion, but there are some rather vague guidelines on what qualifies for tax exemption. John Oliver managed to create the legally recognized church Our Lady of Perpetual Exemption just to point out how simple it is to reach that status.

This seems more like Sony’s answer to the Switch than their answer to the WiiU. I imagine going the dedicated screen route vs just attaching controller components to the user’s phone guarantees that the hardware works as they intend, kind of how consoles work compared to PC gaming. I’m curious to see how it all works,

This “article” cannot seem to decide if its bashing console owners or PS owners specifically.

The model in question is listed on Sketchfab, which explicitly states its for non-commercial use. Only Up! is a $10 game, andit’s being used to make money, which goes directly against the guidelines set out.

And with that, I now feel too old for the internet. I don’t know why Grimace has a milkshake, I don’t know why its a meme, I don’t know what it has to do with gaming, anime, or anything really, I just don’t know anything anymore.

No, I saw that. What I didn’t see was them halting development on whatever console comes next. If their only profit comes from game sales, why not drop the console and go all in on software? No development costs, no manufacturing costs. They also cut the major hurdle they’re stuck on as I doubt Sony cares much about

If Microsoft has lost the console war, has never made a profit on their console sales, and are pivoting to software, why not drop out of the hardware market and focus on software, the way Sega did?

There are practically no similarities between this trailer and the Bioshock Infinite launch trailer, apart from them both advertising video games. That being said, the Clockwork Revolution trailer does carry a pretty heavy Bioshock Infinite vibe, as the art style does look similar, the story beats feel similar and

This isn’t really surprising. Given that GTA:O made enough money on Shark card sales that Rockstar parent company Take Two basically changed their business model for all future game releases to include a microtransaction economy, it’s no surprise that they found a way to make the players already pouring money into the

As an Ubisoft game, I suspect you’ll be climbing radio towers and taking over outposts.

Today, I learned there are 3rd party Reddit apps.

I’m not saying I or anyone else is entitled to anything. I’m not advocating piracy, emulation, or anything. I’m just saying that Nintendo making an argument that people helping themselves to a back catalog that Nintendo has neglected to do anything with is damaging to their creative process or work rings kind of

Ok, but what if you never owned a Gamecube or a Wii, then what? They aren’t making sure their developers are getting recognized or compensated for their work. Instead of providing you a first party route to getting the content you want (which would hypothetically pay someone who was involved with the creation of the

It’s not really a CMON game. They’re basically just publishing a game that previously fell through the cracks.

Sadly, you’re right. We have a personal choice to say no to the new bigger price tag. But the handful of people willing to wait or outright not buy a game are a drop in the bucket compared to those who just go spend the extra money. And there’s plenty of precedent to tell the industry to just tough out the negativity.

Having played through the entire game and both DLC packs, I’m willing to roll the dice on some paid content. It’s kind of odd that this is the one they chose to charge for, but maybe Spongebob is just that popular compared to FF7 and Tomb Raider.

While I share your feeling of not being as excited about another GTA as I have been in years past, I wouldn’t say that GTA has ever been PC, by the numbers, or not fun. GTA Online has been a notorious cash grab with more grind than fun (for me), but the single player experience has always been top notch.

Yeah, unless you’re in the know and get out before the news breaks.

But we cannot touch you unless you are crashing in front of us or your blood pressure goes so high that you are fixing to have a heart attack

In general, I don’t care too much one way or the other on console exclusivity. I think for 1st party titles, it makes sense. I think signing exclusivity deals with a console maker makes sense, in the right circumstance. We’ve seen plenty of games developed with a hand from the console supplier and I think it is fair
