the downloadable content not included at launch on the way

That would only really be a problem for anything movie-related.

Star Tropics alone almost sells me on this.

I wonder if we’ll ever see Norman Smiley in one of these games

Or, if we look at AAA game developers as a guide of what’s to come, paid bonuses to give you a slight advantage in the arena.

Conan O’Brien has nothing to do with DC Comics, but it didn’t stop him from showing up in Lego Batman 3.

I did a little digging and I was able to find a picture of their prototype VR system.

I managed to avoid this money sink for so long, but there are far too many franchises that I want now that I don’t know if I can justify not buying in at some point any more.

There’s a part of me that wonders if they’ll ever get around to making a game, or if they’ll get caught up in making new logos for their company. Kind of like how Valve got side tracked on some pet projects and never got around to making Half Life 3.

One of my most memorable moments comes from a D&D game from hell. The DM had us spend the past 8 frustrating real life months railroaded on a plot that none of the players enjoyed, ultimately leading us to the villain’s castle. We reach the top of the tallest tower to find the villain casting some lengthy incantation

None of these stories are really your fault. The worst I’d wish upon you is a really mild inconvenience, like maybe it takes you a few extra seconds to fish your keys out of your pocket, or the remote control is a few inches out of reach when something particularly dreadful comes on TV.

I guess the worst part of this is that there won’t be an inevitable pachinko machine to help fill the void.

Doesn’t incremental upgrades defeat the purpose of a gaming console? I thought the point of a console was to have a single machine capable of playing all the games that come out during its lifetime with consistent settings at a single affordable price. With this strategy, you’d almost be better off just buying a PC,

I think the piano sold me on this.

Doubtful. I think they’re being very careful with the Spider-Man reboot, so I don’t see them introducing any replacement Spider-Men anytime soon. If Miles shows up, it would be as some sort of name drop cameo, which would probably disappoint his fans. Better to wait and introduce him if and when it’s time for him to

So, basically, they rushed production to get the game out in time to get swept up in all the hype because they knew people would come in droves to buy it, regardless of just how much content it may or may not have had?

We’re edging closer and closer to me not needing my PS3 anymore.

That’s a shame. This is about the only Xbox One game I was interested in.

But will it fix my Start Menu and taskbar? I’ve had them both fail on me three times now with a vague “Critical Error” message which logs me out of my profile. So far, the only consistent fix is to restore from an earlier save, which just sidesteps the issue without fixing anything.

Star Wars is a franchise that sees complex backstories for characters that pop up in the background for a single scene. Someone somewhere has asked that question before. I’m surprised there isn’t already a novel about that ship yet.
