My eighth grade art teacher (Ms. Wall) color coordinated every single outfit to her makeup. On yellow days, it was all yellow and green eyeshadow, red days...blue days, you name it. It traumatized (and fascinated) me. I have to say, looking back that I am impressed with her hutzpah. You da real MVP, Ms. Wall!

I lost my dad on May 31st. It has been wonderful, if not a bit overwhelming, to navigate through the wishes of support. I’m glad when people ask me how I’m doing most of the time...but I also find myself kind of rehearsing my responses. I probably do this as sort of a survival technique. This isn’t how Derby Days went at my college at all. Yes, it was a week long party fest centered around fundraising but my sorority was never explicitly approached to plan any event. This may be just a large university problem. Just my two cents.

If we are showing off rings...I have to add mine. I really am ambivalent about it now (I think for the 10 year anniversary I’ll just go for a diamond band instead), but my husband really listened prior to our engagement and I was really happy with the finished result.

We just purchased a 43” LC by Sharp and love the 4K screen. Not a fan of the remote though...too easy to push weird buttons while using.

Man, I just do it because I like the way it looks. My husband doesn’t care either way (and honestly , either do I). I will say that sex (both oral and regular) actually feels better afterwards for me. I’m with Cat on this one...be supportive of women whatever their choices. You are so right about the dry skin. I’m in the midwest (and considerably darker than Jia and Kara) so maybe it’s a city thing? Maybe I should do one for the dark chocolate-skinned girls someday....foundation and powder can be soooo hard to get right!

Are you guys ever going to do women of color product diaries? I mean, it’s great that the majority of your readership can easily buy these products and find that they work well for them but....well, let’s just say there’s an untapped market for more diversity in this series.
