So Billy Bob will come home from making battery packs, then go online and about the commie trans plot to make electric cars, while praising his Chevy Trax that is made in Korea, on his good American Freedom phone, assembled in China
The monorail can still be a thing!
I have a business proposition perfect for an investor like yourself. Here is my pitch video.
BMW has realized that their customers don’t care about outside styling.
I would consider a full ev vehicle, but I will never buy a Tesla for three reasons. One, their horrid quality control. Two, the cult-like fan base. And three, because of Elon himself.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T HAVE UNLIMITED MONEY TO BUY OUR $50K+ EVS???
I mean... Carlos Ghosn is an INTERNATIONAL FUGITIVE. He escaped justice by being ‘extracted’ by a specialist team by hiding in an audio case...
Because they know what happens when billionaires get their hands on a monopoly. It doesn’t last. Even in ideal circumstances it doesn’t last. Elon is not ideal, Elon is gonna speedrun the acquire monopoly, become intensely corrupt, and blow the whole thing apart, in very short order. It might be a golden goose in the…
Yes, this is a shocking realization. When you make vehicles out of reach to 85% of the population and then ramp up battery facilities, etc., how can things possibly go wrong? Almost like most of the people that can afford those cars and want them already have them.
Who knew that a company which set its performance goals based on how high one guy was at any given time, with products made up on the spot, and existed to mislead and flat out rip people off, would under perform? And if you didn't know that, well do I have a monorail to sell to you.
What are you saying? That there isn’t an infinite customer base that has near-infinite disposable income? How am I suppose to sell to anything less than that?
Weird that EV automakers catering almost solely to the early adopter crowd with expensive luxury vehicles and pickups are having troubles, while Chinese automakers putting out affordable sedans are accelerating their sales. So weird.
Those should be banned or a class action forced to fix them. I can’t believe such things were ever engineered in my lifetime. I know there are other examples, but these seem to be the canonical example of a vehicle destined to fail and bury you in costs if you attempt to do anything about it.
Henry Ford was a righteous Jew hating bastard
When you buy a used EV, you’re essentially buying a used battery that is diminishing in range every year. Lease new, enjoy the benefits (and warranty coverage), and let the manufacturer deal with the diminished performance.
It’s OKAY priced. A new 3 is similar but the S is a better highway cruiser and this one seems pretty well put together (I did not get a feeler gauge out for the gaps). Redo the tint (mandatory driver side and probably windshield), redo the tail lights (asshole idea), a couple of grand off and I’d be interested.
negatory squirrely control. for that price just buy a new model 3 if youre wanting an electric car. the long range gets about 40% more range and charges quicker for the same money. unless you are just wanting a bigger car this doesnt make sense.
Cool! Looks like they need a lot more testing.
But Johnny Bladerunner, protagonist of the movie Blade Runner, never had to go offroad when he ran all those blades. So why should we expect anything more from the Cybertruck?
