I didn’t buy it but my father did. 80 something Plymouth Grand Fury. Didn’t run great on the best days, was a fairly low mileage car if memory serves me right and dad, a Navy Mechanic, couldn’t figure it out. Damn thing left me at around 10 years old, my little brother inside my father’s jacket being carried and my

Just out of curiosity, did someone install a remote starter? I spent an entire weekend removing and repairing the starter, headlight and dash circuits on Aurora #1 because it’s electronics went haywire. After that all the driveability, lighting and especially security system problems went away. As for the trunk leak,

Nah I like it a few grand worth. Maybe up to 3K. But I’ll also immediately do an engine, trans and wheels (bleech!) Swap to make it a very confusing sleeper.

Now playing

Some More News released a video on full self driving cars. Elons promises start back in 2015. 1:45 on this video.

Well the city did float them a loan.

Seriously. The Panther was the peak body on frame sedan. The problem with including it as the best American cars ever made is by the end it was a bit underpowered and dated. But given the option between a new Tesla in my driveway or a brand new CVPI? Call me Interceptor

It would be a good and bad idea at the same time. Good because it would increase volume sales and get the brand out there more, much like the Sprinter did for Dodge. Bad because then people like me would opt for the workman spec truck and Rivian would lose profits. Honestly there’s a good size market out there for a

Nope sorry Manwich not giving you that one. It's a classic shape that hasn't been beaten with the truckdor stick. And there's nothing wrong with a simple antenna.

That was the Pontiac product I was referring too.

I always found it confusing that the allante only got the Northstar for 1 year. Finally gave the car the power it needed, then killed it the next year. Reminds me of a certain Pontiac product.

Similar story. I got pulled over when I was 19 or 20. Wasn’t speeding, didn’t do anything wrong, but pulled over. Roll the window down, usual license and registration, he takes it back, runs it, everything checks out. Comes up, “you’re good to go” I ask him why he pulled me over. “Oh we’re looking for a stolen car,

You bring up an interesting point. Where is the bodycam footage from the officer who pulled him out of the car?

They're used to government being against unions. Reagan against air traffic controllers, several states with "right to work" laws designed to ruin collective bargaining, states breaking up public unions with healthcare and teachers unions, ect. But the idea of government supporting unions? SOCIALISM!

“Look, were gonna win bigly. All you spats producers are going to be fine. And you carriage makers, sales will be bigger than ever. Cofefe”

Gonna play devil's advocate here and say there is a real possibility that the gun fell out of his holster during the struggle. Does the excuse his level of douchebaggery? Of course not. Should he have told the police he had a gun on his hip and no intention of using it? Definitely. But neither of those are punishable

Agreed. That's a impound the vehicle, contact someone to pick you up or take you to the station situation. Expired plates are one thing, this guy was clearly having a "I am above the law!" Moment.

I’m obviously biased, but the Oldsmobile Aurora. There’s a dead zone between 2500-3000 that could have been cured with the addition of 1-2 more gears. But what did GM do? Keep the same 4T80E in their Northstar front drivers for nearly 20 years! That engine would have benefited so much from just 2 more gears. Even one

I’ll add the Corvair to the 2 speed sin list. With the manual it’s actually a really fun drive. But hearing that poor flat six scream and then bog on the shift. Oof.
