Did anyone else catch the Doctor Who-esque theremin in the score

Arrow, especially, is getting some damned fine episodes so far this season. This week’s was great. When it’s over, I tend to trot over to the site, and then get sad and remember it’s no longer covered. Blows. ;(

Great actor, fun to watch, with gravitas to spare — but I was surprisingly bothered by the very lazy characterization of the rich, asshole American with a gun fetish. Like we don’t have to deal with that kind of shit in real life enough as it is...

Watching this season’s Supergirl feels like a chore. Which is new for me. :(

Third episode — he was revealed to be napping during first episode, on the couch in the STAR Labs waiting room that nobody knew anything about. If I’m remembering that right.

Been officially over the “Council of Ricks” joke for quite a while now; it was a weird but of fun at first, but it’s not nearly the laugh riot they seem to think it is, considering they keep bringing it back.

Tom is terrific when he’s in his season-long persona -- among my favorite of the cast, even -- but these

Oh man, you didn’t mention Ray's “ratings” joke from the start of the episode? That was amazing! 🤣

It’s going to be tough watching S4...

Oh hell, how did I not notice that? Oof..

That’s unfortunate. AoS has had far more high’s than lows since the SHIELD-busting events of Winter Soldier dislodged it from it’s ‘monster of the week’ formula.

Probably not a 1:1 replacement, but I often turn to a show’s specific Reddit community for supplemental conversation.

The A.V. Club is discontinuing weekly coverage for now,

Nora’s personality is a little too...bubbly?....needy?...I don’t know. I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe exuberant.

Pretty sure it’s a given it’ll form around them. Seems like the kind of cliffhanger aimed at those new to the show. :)

It’s Tom’s weird fetish. Fleshy fists right up the ol’ hoverskirt.

It’s not my favorite, but I grew to enjoy it more as the season went on, and they got their bearings. Many of the earlier ones, the riffs were wall to wall and felt bad.

My feelings on the revival are... complicated. I’m thrilled they’re doing it, but it does feel like it’s a bit off. (Then again after the amount of

It’s 2018 and I’ve only recently started watching the show from beginning until, well, this episode, on Netflix. I’ve been downing multiple episodes a day — I love it. The humor, the characters and their brilliant actors who bring them to life. But that gives me a unique perspective, too, because I don’t have the

Aye. I’ve been giving it a good think lately, and others have mentioned this, too. While it won’t ever feel “okay”, I can at least accept that this is comic book logic. Otherwise every Batman book would be a de facto Justice League book. I get it. :)

Besides, Flash wound up at least touching on this in the finale. It

Did the developer misspell “assemblance” and just went in all-in on it, or is there a meaning there?

That’s an excellent point. Whoa.
