Fuckin’ relax, Donald.
Fuckin’ relax, Donald.
Furthermore, why the hell is Ollie going to her for help before Barry & Team Flash? They could even get Team Flash to contact Supergirl and/or The Legends.
I find it interesting that Oliver basically tried to commit suicide with Felicity and Diaz in the hallway. He blew the explosives when they were still in in the building. Considering they didn’t KNOW about the explosives until The Masked Hossmaster tossed him the detonator, it’s not like he did some strategic move. As…
DeVoe’s plan has clearly already affected the writer’s room. ;)
“The trial is scheduled to begin May 3rd.” — okay, I laughed. ;)
I’d like it to go back, personally, because that’s what the show WAS for many, many years. A secret agent spy spoof. And it was legendary.
But then they got bored. And slowly eroded the premise (so, now we’re drug dealers, now we’re PI’s, etc) and then eventually abandoning the premise entirely with the coma thing…
Huge fan of the show, yet I found myself uncharacteristically bored with this. I actually paused it half-way and started looking online for reviews, to see if I was nuts, or what.
I’ll stick around, of course. Maybe it’ll pick up now that the first episode has established the setting.
At any rate, I’m glad the voice…
Almost entirely certain all the bus metas — possibly including Ralph, depending on if the writers will ‘sacrifice’ him for the feels — will return via a) their consciousnesses being inside DeVoe, and b) Ralph’s stretchy bits.
A rational person would say “but Ralph only has enough mass for himself, not enough for a bunc…
A purely episodic series like TNG (or MASH, etc), being a series of one-off, (generally) self-contained stories, can only really be judged individually. In shows like that, there IS no season-long story arc to advance.
So by definition, none of TNG’s episodes could be considered “filler”.
Well. A clip-show episode…
Loved these. Genuinely looking forward to seeing future strips. (And my god is it delightful how upset the old farts are getting over this.)
Delighted to see Diaz finally get fleshed out. I didn’t care about him before, but now I’m very much invested in seeing where he goes. Yeah, the ending did put a chink in that silent, intimidating armor, but that’s probably the point. It’s his weakness on display.
Being so late in the season, I really hope Diaz…
Gonna backup everyone on the Legends advice. I loathed it’s first season, but stuck with it because of the promise it held. And sure enough, they fixed a lot going into Season 2. Leaned hard into the campy fun side of things, not taking it too serious. Worked great for them. And now they’re my favorite Arrowverse…
Almost feels like a scene was missing. DeVoe was all “oh and thanks to that thing that happened, we also have some dark matter now”. Okay then?
What a complete fucking mess this show has become.
LOVED that line. :)
Gonna join this chorus by also backing the start of Season 2 as the tipping point from garbage to goofy fun. Though the lack of one particular ‘Legend’ at the end of S1 hurt quite a bit. But the show thrived, despite that.
Only this show could get away with the John Noble thing. I was fucking CACKLING that they’d even try it, never mind make it work. ;D
Every episode I have to remind myself how much I actively ridiculed Legends and disliked it so thoroughly back in it’s first season.
With literally one single exception (you can probably guess which episode), Season 10 was incredibly disappointing. First ep of Season 11 seemed to suggest S11 was going to keep sinking. But instead, yeah, most of the eps were rather decent. And then the finale drops.
Eeh. I’m just grateful we got a nice slice of…
After what felt like an episode filled with several boring hours of chasing after this kid, they had a pretty good twist going there, swapping Mulder for “Mulder!William”.
Absolute shame, then, that they telegraphed it and completely ruined it, mere minutes before.
