WE saw that, and maybe Stamets remembers some of it, but as far as the overall timeline goes, nobody was killed. That said, I’m deeply disappointed they basically let him off with a slap on he wrist. That doesn’t make sense.

(Not to mention I don’t remember Mudd being quite so...murdery. A greedy, selfish scoundrel,

I think they’re pushing too hard into the “fuck-ups” thing. They struck a perfect balance last season — reckless, unconventional, yet capable badasses who get the job done.

But now they’re barely able to get out of their own way, captured by mortal, barely armed 1870's carnies. How the fuck were they a threat for

“Yawn”? We’re leading right up into the era where this is directly relevant. Of course it’s the Death Star. If that’s boring, well, you might as well get off the ride now and save your energy. ;)

So did anyone else think having DISCO as the short form for Discovery on the shirts was a bit of a ill-thought out design choice?

If I remember right, Star Trek Continues incorporated a proto-holodeck of sorts. Granted, that’s not canon, but it’s canon enough for me. ;)

...and considering whether Voq could be Ash, it doesn’t really make any sense to think a Klingon, with no training in the matter, could learn how to act human, know Starfleet protocol and procedures, and operate Starfleet equipment in a matter of what? A week or two? Now, whether Tyler is a human who’s been turned is

I was NOT okay with that whole “We are The Flash” bit. I mean, on one hand I “get” the sentiment, but that struck me sour.

And then blaming Barry for leaving. Sure, I “get” that, too, on some deep down emotional level. But what was the alternative? Let everyone die? Dude sacrificed everything.

Enjoying the lighter

Reminds me of the hospital set — same damned hospital hallway, and hospital room. Bed on the left. Door on the right.

Just stop watching. If you’re going that deep into the analysis, you’re going to have a bad time.

As pilots go, frankly, I enjoyed the shit out of it. I hope Fox gives it space to grow and iron out the kinks.

Now playing

That sounds right. Some of the ideas were salvaged.

This should answer everything much better, though:

Exactly — this is HUGE news. Star Fox 2 was developed, nearly completely finished, and then shelved in favor of Star Fox 64, if I recall correctly. So the game’s been floating around the emulation community forever. Never thought it’d see a proper release. This is amazing.

Aye, I saw a mention of it tonight saying they were showing it every night this week, or something, and then it “returns this Summer”. So, that’s answered. :)

I didn’t take that insane garage monologue from Rick at the end seriously — they’ve ended previous shows on similar, suddenly non-canon weirdness. The pilot episode with it’s “Rick and Morty a hundred years!” spiel, and that 4th wall breaking S1 finale ending.

Hard to say. Hysterical, in any event.

Any clue on if this is an official launch to Season 3, or if it’s just a one-off reverse-gag for Apr 1st? Strongly assuming the latter, but the former would be ‘okay’. ;)

So a guy says “I don’t want anybody looking at my photos. I treasure my privacy and security on the internet. “, and your first instinct is to expose him to the public. Yeah, I’d say that has just about the right level of dishonor and sleaze I expect nowadays.

Genuinely think there’s a good guy in there, but his beliefs have been mucked up with bullshit. From his perspective, it all probably makes sense, and feels “just”. If he’d just lower his jokey defense mechanism and actually TRY to expand his understanding beyond the superficial trash he’s been feed, I could easily

Asking is how people learn. He’s way off, but at least he’s trying to educate himself. Don’t be a cunt.

That’s the trick of it. Yeah, every year brings fresh obituaries. That’s nature. But these were some HEAVY, unexpected icons in a small span.

Seems like folks in the media think if something is being posted everywhere on social media, that makes it legit. Which... is backwards.
