Oh, you sweet, innocent babe straight off the boat. *hugs you and pecks your forehead while making off with your wallet*

I love how he wrote all that -- written with such damning conviction! -- and he was absolutely off-base. Didn’t understand what it was for, but he had all the answers.

Considering what they’ve done with Marvel and Star Wars, I’d be EXCEEDING pleased to hear that.

Is it even legal to be that high? ;)

Nimoy was completely wasted in “Into Darkness” (much like the film itself...), but I felt his role in Trek’09 was pretty great, all things considered. I’m kind of glad Shatner passed on his “greeting card” cameo considered for Trek ‘09 — I get the feeling the scraps of that idea wound up becoming that nice bit at the

I was having some serious lag issues for the first time ever, today. Wonder if it’s related?

“The aliens are using No Man’s Sky as a tool to practice invading Earth, just like terrorists used flight simulators to plan attacks! BAN THIS GAME.”

EXACTLY the game I’ve been using to temper my expectations. If it sounds utterly fantastic with endless possibilities... slash those expectations down by 90%. :P

Only Minecraft has come close to that ‘unlimited exploration’ gimmick. And for a while it’s great. Then, eventually, you start to see the patterns, and you

Don’t stress too much over it. It happens early in the flick and knowing that (like I, also, did) doesn’t detract from it. In fact, I was still in awe over how spectacular and, frankly, heartbreaking (!) it was on-screen. No worries; still carries quite the impact. So to speak.

That’s exactly what a person who plays would say.

That works for like, surface familiarization. But you’re knee deep in 3D printing custom hardware for the game, now. You’re too far in. You’ll be playing soon, at this rate, “just to see what it’s all about”. All downhill from there. Just accept it.

Keep perpetuating the stereotype, now.

The Ackroyd thing was weird, but I just assumed That Was The Joke™: some random civilian, a taxi guy no less, knew some technical detail. Hoho.

Dem Po-Chi-Monz, thow.

I was going to say Eccleston [personal fav], but really, anyone but Matt. (I love ‘em, don’t get me wrong, but I’m still burnt out on him, even several years later.)

It was completely fine. It just wasn’t as good as the original. Nothing was going to be, really.

Ghost Lives Matter!

Congrats on being an overboard extremist, but just on the other end of the spectrum.

Huge fan of his G1 Megs voice, but I know all too well how that can shred your voice. That he did it all those years is quite impressive... The voice he did in TF:Prime, however, was damned good. If he only used that one going forward for Megatron, I could easily live with it. ;)

It sounds VERY MUCH like him, but a version of him where his age is starting to creep into the voice.
