What a bunch of bullshit. Just do the after-credits thing. Audiences enjoy it. They’ve been trained to expect it. Just do it, christ.
Still excited for this series, but CBS/Paramount has really put a damper on that excitement with their new fan ‘guidelines’. Cheering on the showrunners for the new series, but seriously damning their employers.
Yes, but things were created and allowed to flourish under those ‘risky’ conditions. Under the new conditions, officially, none of the great fan shows we’ve come to enjoy would ever have existed. CBS/Paramount isn’t even TRYING to preserve that.
No, I just wanted to say UPN again. Been a while.
Just like that fellow that plays The Flash on The UPN.
Individual opinions will vary, but I think it might have to do with consoles being rather redundant, in general. From a PC gamer’s point of view, at least.
It’s a thankless job supporting your team. It’s not as glamorous as rocketing someone in the crotch, or putting a sniper bullet through their head, but it’s still an important role. They deserve recognition.
I’ll usually vote for support guys, but barring that, there’s the old saying along the lines of “if you don’t value your time, why should anyone else?” ;)
I’d rather they left it unaddressed. Only because that allows Prime!Spock to have further, unknown adventures that we’ll only hear about in books and our imagination. I can think of no more fitting tribute than to allow his character to live on in fiction, instead of putting him in the ground twice.
She had the opposite effect on me — it’s been a long LONG time since I’ve seen that episode, but I remember thinking she was obnoxious. I avoided her outside of Trek for the longest time because of that role... which, of course, was a big mistake. I totally adore her, nowadays.
Really want to go back and rewatch it…
There’s a difference between sustaining damage in battle, and actually destroying the ship.
“You person born of parents not married to each other.”
As a Termintor fan, all I really want right now is a second season of Sarah Connor Chronicles. But that’s right along side other wild fantasies like “more Firefly” and “HalfLife 3".
Love them all, but it’s a very awkward first place tie for me between Chris and Tom Baker. (Capaldi is squeezing his way up there, too.)
...probably leave us eager to see more of Jared Leto’s Joker...
Season 2, especially, of the original series had some really stupid plots.(As showcased.) The first season was generally pretty solid, but it goes downhill from there, pretty quick. Anyone defending G1 is clearly defending just the good times. ;D
Harley was never really depicted as hot
She’s the only thing keeping me interested in this. ;) But yeah, that recut goes a long way towards making it look better.
I remember being SO EXCITED to find out there as an animated series. And then I watched the first two, and wished to god to have it wiped from my memory. Absolutely rancid.
