While there’s a lot I love about Spaceballs, to me it marked a turning point in his quality. Stuff from this era, onward, while still being generally amusing, doesn’t quite hold up as well as his earlier works.

I’d argue that modern games a LOT more complicated nowadays, especially across various platforms, which probably contributes to the problem.
Everyone makes mistakes. We’re human. I dig it.
But as a reader, easily avoided errors like this bring down the whole publication.
If I have to do the work of the author of the article and drill down through all the sources just to validate the story, I’m going to be a lot less willing to read and share content from…
Pretty much how I read it, myself. ;)
I knew they wouldn’t, but I was hoping they’d subvert the trope, too.
Cat has quickly become my favorite character on the show... words I can’t believe I’m even typing.
I absolutely hated her for quite a few episodes. To the point of distraction, actually. Unless one enjoys characters who are rotten, irredeemable…
Usually I’m the one irritated that everyone posts the same response to something, but here I am doing it. I didn’t even realize the others were there. Weird. Can’t delete it either. THIS IS ON MY PERMANENT RECORD. *sob*
“Pray they do not alter the premise further.”
If you reuse an existing property, why would you go out of your way to throw out everything the audience liked and made it identifiable?
Ahh, yes. I remember when “Game of Thrones” had to stop production because it became the most pirated TV series ever. Shame. If HBO could have actually made a profit off it and kept going past that first season, I bet it would have been really good. And they wouldn’t have had to file for bankruptcy.
RIP Home Box…
Oh, please. Nobody is rewriting history. They were shit when they came out, and time has not been kind to them.
I’ll keep that in mind. :-D
They’re “okay”. Your average theater. But interestingly enough, a couple weeks ago this lady at the bank asked me how my holiday is, and I jokingly blurted out “getting ready for Star Wars!”, and she mentioned the North Haven’s theater and how awesome it was. So apparently it has quite the reputation! :D
7pm and 8pm in Middletown. :D (3D at 9pm.)
Yes, let’s invalidate anyone’s opinion that isn’t high praise.
“No sex, please. We’re Jedi.”
Thursday at 8pm at a place near me here in CT. ;)
Oh god, I flipped the tint instead and now everyone is pink. HALP.
Neat! I knew about subtle changes over the years, but that’s a new one to me. :D
Entirely possible. I guess it depends on how integral the sonic (in either form) is to the Christmas story. It would be trivial to swap one for the other in most episodes.
