DEF consumption should put it around 60-70 gallons over 100,000 miles if averaging 30 mpg. That’s around 200 dollars for DEF. The oil change interval is a bit longer on the Ecodiesel than the gas. Not sure if the new one will be higher, but the new Cummins now has a 15,000 interval and some of the bigger truck engines

A manual is better for steep grades and crawling at slow speeds. I’ve ran a manual and auto over Linville Gorge and found the auto to be better in most situations, except for those few tricky situations.

The one in the photo I believe is the 1500. Though, they used a 1500 and 2500 as well in the movie.

I started buying Ryobi tools around 5 years ago for the same reason. Nobody wanted to be caught dead with lime green POS home gamer kid tools. Unfortunately, that has changed in the last year now that people realize they’re rebranded Milwaukees.

That’s what I said. Granted, they had 32 in their pocket from the VW buyback. On the flip side, I put my buyback in the bank and restored a MKV VW diesel instead.

Old article referring to the old emission standard.

I usually continue on with cooking my dinner. I placed my power rack and deadlift platform next to the kitchen.

It’d be against the same kind of people who buy a VW SUV or a fully loaded Escape. That price is about what my parent’s paid for their Escape.

Yup. Those 4 cylinder diesels are slow and gutless.

VW is bringing the TDI back in Europe in order to meet the new CO2 emissions.

They’re not going to outlaw the new diesels(just the older ones, potentially) in Europe. The newest CO2 standards are forcing more plug in hybrid diesels on the roads.

To add to that, the engine in your BMW was put under the same microscope in the West Virginia University study that caught VW cheating. Your BMW engine was found to be exceptionally clean, but wasn’t mentioned in the news articles because it doesn’t generate the ad clicks.

Bad fuel economy from a diesel that meets the emissions means it’s going to eat particulate filters and clog the EGR like nobody’s business. A properly designed emission system that doesn’t cheat on a modern diesel will get better fuel economy than the older diesels.

It’s important to remember that the Ecodiesel was a piece of shit. There’s a reason why Cadillac/GM sent that design to the fuck it bin. FCA was standing outside of the restaurant GM was eating from and picked the leftover food from the trash and made the Ecodiesel.

Usually I see them behind a lifted 2500 or 3500 diesel that’s deleted.

It’ll use less fuel. Wake boats drink fuel like there’s no tomorrow.

Correct. It also depends how the caption is done. Usually the caption is giving context to the average reader and the ADA hover over metadata usually describes the scene in detail, while limited to around 140 characters or so.

Friendly reminder, make sure to caption your images and describe them for people who have vision issues. When designing websites, articles and videos to be ADA accessible to people with vision issues, just think about what it’s like browsing the website with a screen reader. Three people riding in an old muscle on the Mulholland Highway at 1 am that ends with a crash. I have a feeling this wouldn't have ended much differently if they were riding in a normal Hellcat.
