If you legitimately want to help instead of just getting off on feeling like you’re helping, there’s still a way you can pitch in legally.

Pumps are easy to repower with generators, I refueled from a gas station that was on a generator after Matthew. Electric chargers can be repowered with generators, but it uses a lot more fuel in the process.

In the areas these mules are going, none of those rides would make it. The brodozer is good for getting supplies to areas with intact road, and that’s about it.

If you want to broadcast an emergency to the American people, it’s far easier and more effective to do it by phone. I’ve lived in the path of tornadoes and wild fires, and I haven’t once turned on an AM radio to figure out my next emergency move.

One report has already came out about a Cybertruck towing a trailer and had the hitch or frame cracked, then the trailer ran into the truck.

An F750 that weighs 16 tons? They weigh less than 6,000 pounds.

NP for people looking for a car that’s cheap to repair.

This one was trending on Twitter yesterday. Appears to be a fatal crash.

Regenerative braking helps from EV/Hybrid setups.

This. Replacing simple V6 and V8 with the Hurricane is going to haunt them a few years down the road. It’s too soon to tell if the hurricane is going to be reliable or not, but it’s going to be so expensive to maintain after 5-10 years.

There are immense pressures involved at this point, so cars with GDI engines have two fuel pumps: a low-pressure and a high-pressure one. Fuel goes in at a low 60 psi and then comes out of the fuel pump at 2,000 psi. Because of these high pressures, Paul says fuel can easily leak into the valve cover and into the

For people who need a car that won’t break the bank when it needs repaired, NP. Even if it needs major engine work or transmission work, it’s a NP for someone to fix up and have as a reliable daily or backup car.

This. The cost of maintaining and repairing the Hurricane 3.0 will likely alienate the rest of the Hemi crowd when they hear about the repairs down the road. A lot more failure points, more plastic and rubber, and more labor needed to deal with these issues.

Exactly. They do still offer 0 percent financing, but the large print giveth and the small print taketh away.

Getting pre approved by a credit union or your current bank is usually the way to go, and financing with them is usually less risky than the dealership. Your bank typically has more skin in the game and doesn’t want to see you fail the loan. The dealership doesn’t have as much to lose and more to gain from doing

Well said. The resources needed for AI quite something, including water for cooling. Microsoft said their water usage increased by more than 30 percent in 2022. There isn’t a breakdown of what was caused by AI, but that’s likely the change.

I hope that to be the case, but fear it isn’t. It’s not a good sign when the even the Cummins engines have been having a higher failure rate. The newer Aisin(basically Toyota) transmissions are also losing their great reputation.

Let’s not jump to conclusions, it was probably one time mistake. Just like Toyota’s heavy duty diesel division’s cheating and falsifying data for 20 years was a one off thing.

I’d be curious to see how they designed the brakes. Attempting to beat the record holder with double the weight on a course with more than 150 turns is pretty wild.

That’s a good point. I wonder if the average user is also more likely to be cautious with the throttle on an ICE engine than an EV. The EV allows you to stab the throttle without drawing too much attention.
