Let’s add dynamic to the list.

What’s to stop them being the better party here? Why do they need to even worry about this?

Check with your local utility company. For example, Duke Energy will usually send you a box full of LED light bulbs if you’re one of their customers.

Murder Beach

Where the skies aren’t so blue anymore.

It’s foreign in that they’re owned by Diamler of Germany for nearly 40 years. Operations remain mostly without interference from the parent company since it’s running very well, but that can change. If something happens to Diamler and they need cash quickly, they can do a lot of damage to Diamler Trucks if they needed

The amount of other foreign automotive manufactures based in just North Carolina alone is outstanding. There’s a lot of foreign semi truck manufactures, like Diamler Trucks(Freightliner, Western Star, etc), GKN(OEM supplier for driveline parts for companies like VW), Denso.

From the posts I’ve see from Waffle House, it looks like they run a incident command structure that resembles the structure that FEMA and other government agencies use.

Were you at one of the only diesel pumps? I do that to people often, they use the only pump that has diesel when many of the other pumps are open.

This happens to me all the time. Often there’ll be one single car at the gas station, but they’re filling up at the only pump that has diesel.

Yup. One of the reasons I chose to build some Adirondack chairs was because I didn’t want to have to deal with storing my chairs as part of my storm prep. And if the storm is strong enough to throw those chairs around, well, I’ll have bigger things to worry about.

May I join you?

I’m sure he can break 40 mpg on all backroad driving. My father’s first diesel was the 6.2 in a Blazer. It’d get 28 mpg all day long and sometimes hit as high as 32 on the highway. It was a gutless engine, but it was efficient.

All great, except increasing the work load for the brakes.

Plus, adding more weight to an old bus won’t help the brakes(and the fact that it’s an old bus). Cummins already has electric bus powertrain solutions and is working with bus manufactures to make a reliable system that’ll also feature regenerative braking.

Yes! Fortunately, it won’t take long to find a C8 at a salvage auction.

Hearing that the dealer did an “injector cleaning” is a bit concerning. I hope they just mean that they added a little bit of diesel power service(the white bottle).

Very well said.

I tried to, but the door wiring harness failed.

The older TDI engines and the 2.sl0w stood the test of time(this is coming from the same guy who rants and raves on how shitty their newer gas engines are)
