I’m just waiting for the plot twist.

That was the car I was going to post, until I realized it was 2010 and not 2009.

The big thing that’s annoying is pulling the stuff out of your trunk. I’m not sure why they didn’t put it in the fuel door like all the trucks do, unless if they’re afraid people will put it in the wrong hole.

Dieselgate was about only NOx, it exceeded the requirements in every other regulated emission, including PM.

I’d be happy with a 2009 Saab 9-3. The money saved by avoiding the Aston can be used for a all wheel drive diesel swap with a 6 speed, followed by a brown paint job.

Storage is not advised, that stuff has a shelf life. You’d only be filling up 3-6 times a year with that kind of driving. You also get a large warning before running out.

Having an adapter is handy, you can get it for dirt cheap from the pump at truck stops.

Electric heat works very well, but it doesn’t work under all conditions. You usually need to have the temperature to the hottest setting and the fan speed cranked all the way to 11 for it to kick on.

relative simplicity of the 1.8T and 1.4T

And thank you for helping to fuel my diesel passion.

Unfortunately, the awd wasn’t available on the diesel on this side of the pond.

VW sells the cars through an auction. You can buy a fixed TDI through the most sketchy buy here pay here dealer in town and get the same warranty.

I moved away after a while, but recently took a trip back and was surprised by how bad it was. I had to take a video because my friends didn’t believe how bad it was.

and is better for the environment by avoiding another takeoff

This is the take I was looking for.

He came up to the most northern tip of Michigan to do a stand up show during Michigan Tech’s winter Carnival a decade ago. He made fun of the world record we had at the time for the world’s largest snowball fight. “I’m beginning to think this wasn’t a world record attempt, it was training. You guys are the first line

Winner! My preference was the Torco brand from back in the late ‘00s.

The big key on why diesels can make a lot of NOx, but won’t heat up an engine like a gasser is the combustion bowl. Diesels have a more defined combustion bowl(even when compared to DI gas engines) and the combustion takes place in the bowl(if tuning is correct). When EGR isn’t used, the combustion bowl will often

Good morning Diesel Dub.

Yuck, lower combustion temperature from EGR to reduce NOx is nothing new or appealing. Lower combustion temp directly correlates with more soot. More soot = more emission system issues.
