Tooef, I miss you. I hope there’s other people on here that’ll get your joke.
I completely agree. Fortunately, it hasn’t phased Cummins who has been leading the emission technology charge. They’re meeting the new Euro emissions which have even more strict PM than the US and are doing so without the DPF.
The thing to remember is that the particulate matter emission standards are not as tough here as they are on the other side of the pond. The ceiling on PM emission reduction is a lot shorter on gas engines that it is on diesel. If we don’t have diesel and we start to go the direction of Europe’s next emission…
From your links.
we’re talking about nitrogen oxides and particulates which are extremely toxic to humans.
The answer will be maintenance. In the short term, it’ll be cheaper than retraining their fleet maintenance crew. Also, most fleets try to avoid being guinea pigs for new technology.
Hip room, my friend. The current Forester has around a half foot less hip room than the interceptor, a built up Forester will have even less. A lot of police officers use these as their mobile office and they’re also carrying a lot more equipment on their belts than a normal civilian.
Nice! My brother inlaw did something like that a few times with a Subaru. He was building a house in the mountains in Romania and couldn’t find a truck. I’ll see if I can find the pics.
Don’t forget, you’ll need an Amazon Echo device in order to use this microwave.

I’d only be interested after seeing the results of the prototype going through 10,000 hours of stress testing.
If air frame fatigue is a concern to you, don’t look up the age of the planes carrying our nation’s nukes.
Great article! Also, you answered your own question: Elkhart, Indiana.
My parents were about to put their house up for sale a year before the market crash, they waited to enjoy one last summer in it. It ended up selling 5 years later for around 150 grand less than it was appraised for. It sold a couple years ago for a little more than it was appraised for in ‘07.
Small word! I looked at the street view and had some deja vu. I drove on the construction site for Deutsche Auto Parts a couple years ago. I went out there to give my buddy a hand on a crane that broke down.
That’s probably correct for the single-stream bin. Your recycling service should have info on what’s allowed. As far as I’m aware, the all plastic and bubble wrap envelopes can go into the plastic bag recycling bin at the store, but the labels need to be removed. The paper with bubble wrap envelope cannot go in those…
Which shop in NC was it from? I’ve got a TDI that I daily and would love to support a local shop like that.
Same for my usual Honda Fit suggestion.
Correct. It’s an attempt to compete against Amazon.
The thing to remember is a lot of these trucks are driving in or around a city. My 12 valve gets 13-15 mixed with mostly city. But it can get 19-22 on the freeway. That’s with the same highway terrain tire and size as the one on the 2018 Ram.
