Water pump speed. Cooling in general increases significantly with RPM. 4 stroke cycle means significantly more cool air to run through the engine. The engine probably has oil squirters for the pistons. Combine that with lower torque needed for the same output and you have a win win for engine and transmission

And the people who are given such solution will attempt to fix it while losing one triple square at a time.

I wonder why they need to watch the exhaust temperature. In most cases, the turbo is the first weak point for exhaust temperature, and the turbo on this one is rated to at least 1050 degrees science(a bit over 1900 ‘murican) continuously.

The EA888 VW has that as well. It’s not a defect, it’s a feature.

Along with it being such an old design, which is a good thing. Plenty of time to work out the kinks, large aftermarket(in terms of replacement parts) and almost any mechanic in the middle of nowhere can work on it.

Along with it being significantly more complicated.

75 mph is quite a bit for a truck that size, it’s the aerodynamics that really start coming into play with the rolling brick.

That’s a very good point. But contractors are in it for the money and will stick with the reliable, more simple, easier to work on engine with more parts readily available.

I wish they would let the Slomo Guys drive through the Lego truck with the real truck.

And if you ever upgrade cameras, the standalone version will no longer work with the new forms of RAW.

Luminar 3 is the only alternative I would consider for Lightroom/Adobe Camera RAW. The library needs work, but some editing functions are better than Lightroom.

There’s a lot of VIPs around here using Maybachs.

First off, they had recalls on multiple truck issues. One of which was for the throttle linkage issue on the 12 valve that’d cause WOT. I had that happened when I used to have compound turbos and around 1,400 lb ft of torque. That’s also the story for why I replaced the seats.

Trucks with dashes made in Canada from '94 to '97 will last.

These issues happen a lot when designing a new engine, and that’s why Cummins kept the updates as minor as possible, to avoid unexpected mishaps. It’s for that reason why the current Cummins ISB is a legendary engine is because they kept the same engine architecture instead of designing all new engines.

Hopefully not, and thank god. The last thing I want in a truck is VW reliability and complex messes. I use my current truck as a reliable backup to my VW.

Your original comment presumed she was caught because the police saw her blindfold, something that was actually a hat that was indicated in the article. I’m no rocket surgeon, but the point is that a police officer won’t look at a hat and say the person was clearly doing the blindfold challenge. The person admitted

Comment:

Where did it say she used a blindfold?

May her premium hike rise promptly and remain far beyond the time her parents remove her from their policy.
