You like to see homos naked?” - Joe Dirtè

Read an article on this yesterday. Refining capacity is set to drop. There are no buyers for existing refineries that companies want to offload.  So while you could make some short-term profit, companies seem to realize it isn’t a good long-term play.

$18,500 for a 21 year old truck with 220,000 miles, an extremely poorly done lift-kit, an extremely poorly done rhino bar, a winch that doesn’t work, and an owner who cannot be bothered to even have the car detailed before listing it for sale?

People need to realize that fuel prices right now are as good as they’re ever gonna get, and they’re never gonna get this good again. A lot of pumping and refining capacity came offline during 2020 as a result of the plummeting demand because of COVID, and nobody is spending the money to restart those production lines

*Could* I afford this? Yup. *Would* I ever afford this? Hahahaha, fuck no. We all have different priorities in life. Some people prioritize some huge redneck truck, while others prioritize things like an “emergency fund, or maybe “a 401(k).”

Same, but if I were buying something for the occasional boat tow, I certainly wouldn’t spend $20k on it.

I just googled both before making the comment. MPG for both was like 11.8MPG for the charger, 12 for the Excursion. Whatever. Small taters’

Probably went to some police chief’s teenage son.

Sure enough, it’s gone.

If you are buying a 2 year old land yacht then most likely you do not have money to burn

I would be curious who these kinds of people are. My wife and I make well into a decent 6-figure income. Yet I absolutely squirm when I glance at the gas pump when putting half a tank of gas in our Subaru. The other day I spent $50 putting half a tank in the thing. I cannot even fucking imagine how much it would cost

I don’t care about market values, you’d have to pay me to haul this thing away. I’ll never NP one of these, ND for irrational knee jerk hate.

Funny, I never saw an Excursion and thought, “you know what this needs? another foot of front overhang.

If you say so.

At $18,500 the car better be damn near perfect and the miles much lower to even think about it. Now that I am thinking about it, seems like too much money for any 20 year old Excursion. Huge No Dice on this one.

So how long will it take you to rack up $18,500 in fuel costs? Six months?

Perfect for the guy who likes to post pics of the price of his fill-up and blame others for his bad decision.

according to the seller, the truck could stand a good going over as it’s not all that clean after 20 years of use.

$18.5 is nice price for this 3 bedroom ranch with a front deck you can throw parties on.

TANK TURN!!!!!
