I think “white supremacy” is quickly becoming the new ‘Nazi: A term so overused on the Internet that it has lost all meaning and is now so diluted as to mean anything involving white people anywhere at all.

The Queen’s political power was near nil. Her role is not to steer policy, or shape policy, and attempts to do so against the wishes of the Parliament, the elected officials who run the government and military of Britain, would be wrong.

I have never understood the “Let’s piss off people who might otherwise support us” philosophy of protest.

An utterly fantastic, big-brained way of winning people to your cause is to fuck with their private property.

I’ve had similar conversations with my mom. She’s extremely liberal, but born/raised in a different climate. She’s pro-choice, supportive of LGBTQ, and atheist. BUT... she was raised in a “never talk/argue politics or religioun”. It keeps the peace.

It’s weird because my era of SNL (~2000)produced mostly players that I hated at the time. I thought Will Ferrell was an idiot, and couldn’t stand Chris Parnell or Chris Katan. I only really liked Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon because I thought Weekend Update was the funniest part of the show.

I mean, Rob Schneider sucks, but he’s not wrong in this instance. That was a really embarrassing/cringey moment for a comedy show.
