I believe this is also the bike he put a ton of miles (kilometers) on while on hiatus. A rush documentary talks about how he took time off after his wife and one of his children passed away and just rode back and forth across canada to get his mind straight. There were a few photos and the bike looks a lot like this

*jazz music has entered the chat*

we currently have the selective service system, there just hasn’t been a draft since vietnam and would be incredibly unpopular for politicians to enact one today without a ww3-type situation

the base in question is ft bragg, which is one of the largest bases in the world and has around 50k soldiers on base at a given time. There may be a connection, but the correlation is about as strong as “both attended (large state university) at the same time”

honestly surprised jalop didn’t jump the gun on this story given how low hanging fruit “cybertruck catches fire in front of trump hotel” must have been for them

in all honesty the “boring” celebrity acquisitions/startups are probably much safer bets than splashier vanity project-type stuff

apparently tsunoda really rubbed people the wrong way early on which tanked his chance of making the top team pretty much no matter what. lawson has to be smart enough to know that his ceiling at red bull is “keep things close and other teams will see you in the shop window and take notice” a la albon or gasly

it’s looking like it’ll be at best a quasi accord coupe and worst case a cr-z sequel. Underpowered/meh handling, not a ton of practicality and at $40k has a ton of competition (including from within honda)

not to mention the jeep that achieved its awful mileage...off roading

i also think there’s a difference between “traditional” conspiracy theories (jfk, moon landing, etc) that were often apolitical and current theories which essentially function as fantasy fulfillment and are flexible based on who/what you already do or do not like

exterior looks like a warmed over facelift of a car that’s already been on sale forever

Figaro and probably some mitsuoka model out there were the first things that came to my mind

a friend growing up’s parents were both anesthesiologists. The dad bought a new clk cash and brought it home. The mom didn’t like it so he took it back to the dealership like it was a freakin’ shirt. People this rich (or have deluded themselves into thinking they’re that rich) don’t necessarily think through large

their kit for the original mini comes in at 21k british pounds before options or install. Top speed also listed as 70mph. It seems to be more of a novelty for the uber rich and less a viable enthusiast option

The basic proportions are there, but it otherwise looks like an audi by way of polestar

is this one of the old benzes where all the interior powered stuff (windows, seats, etc) is hydraulic and on a single circuit? Hardest ND if so

I think it’s fair to point out the difference between rank and file workers vs corporate ownership. I’m sure there are wonderful mom and pop businesses out there who are at least in part staffed by awful people.

i get it if it’s a front plate in a state that doesn’t require them but otherwise yeah, definitely illegal

dude, if you’re buying electronics from someone on a highway ramp that “fell off the back of a truck”, that’s not best buy   /s

the lack of signage or barricades seems to be the much larger issue. It’s much more likely for an app that tracks roads around the world to have an inaccuracy on a device screen than the road that is right in front of you, in real life, to have a lapse in warnings
