I don’t disagree, i was just surprised how much he had to go through as an employee when even the business itself was absolved by an obvious paper trail showing her doing things the business would have no control over

The olympics mega events/spaces with any public funding are a ridiculous boondogle.
i thought the same thing (and it’s not the type of risk/purchase i’d ever do personally) but they mention medical issues. with the way that “business” runs here it’s easier than you would think to get upside down fast.
god i can’t even imagine selling an asset on consignment that you could in theory just...pocket and walk away
en route to eastern europe or the middle east
I’d imagine the consignment contract covers the concept of being an authorized agent to sell a vehicle they don’t own, but i am curious about a seemingly legitimate sale turning out to be fraud is legally considered compared to “a light pole fell on it in the lot” or “dealer employee left with it and never came back”
Fair point, my initial thoughts were “what the hell was this guy doing buying a $90k car then having to sell it soon after if he’s remotely responsible” but my opinion changed when they mentioned the unforeseen medical issues
The skeptic in me says Texas, USA law favors “whoever had more money going into the situation”, which will be the dealership
Yep. I’d be a lot more sympathetic if the tech felt like they had to take the car up and down the street the dealership is on to properly confirm the repair was done right (if you’re unable to tell at parking lot speeds), but the data recorder clearly shows this was a dumbass out joyriding
The bartender one gets dicey too. A friend of mine went through the ringer with the law and ABC as a bartender because they put someone in a cab home who was overserved. She then took another cab back to the bar, got her car and killed someone while driving home drunk. Her lawyers played every card they could. Nothing…
curious about the same thing. given this site’s journalistic voice of tsk tsking polluters et al (ESPECIALLY if tesla is involved) this seems like a weird thing to be celebrating
The same logic could apply to ice cube having a primarily black audience and getting repeated passes for overtly anti-jewish bigotry. Not blurting out a slur once or criticism of israel’s government conflation stuff, like tweeting memes of hook nosed guys controlling the world stuff
EDUCATED (or at least had every opportunity possible) person in his 30s
I’m confused, shouldn’t a performance variant of a small EV be expected to out accelerate some ICE SUVs (granted creme de la creme models)?
crosby was in the byrds, not the beatles (and they spelled it wrong)!!
bradley’s burner? what wisdom will you impart next? “is” vs “is not” is inconsequential?
but...but...they qualified it with “perhaps”!!!
oblique recipes???
look up “Schumacher Adelaide 1994" and “Schumacher Jerez 1997"
