The simple reason people keep using the service is because it’s convenient and what they’re already doing. The ubiquity of amazon, despite their negative employee management practices being fairly well-known at this point, is a good example.

fair points and a matter of preference i suppose. ceramic coating takes a lot less effort maintenance-wise to look its best. Just washing it has almost the same result as 2 stage polishing.

they do a good job of protecting the paint underneath but stuff like waxing, wiping with non-microfiber etc will mar up the coating. Technically your paint is still safe, but something you spent money on is damaged and the surfaces have marks until you redo it.
