Obi-Wan was great when it was focusing on his relationship with Anakin/Vader. But aside from that, the acting and production value was so incredibly poor on all other fronts that (especially when you compare it to something that look as beautiful as Andor) that you really have to question Lucasfilm/Disney’s decision…

I really enjoyed Lightyear. It was way better than it had any business in being. I just don’t think they framed it well enough to get people excited about it. You needed Andy or his mom showing him the movie and cut in with him afterwards and I think people would have been more receptive to it.

Going to sit here and fantasize that HBO not AMC ended up making The Walking Dead. Man does The Last of Us look awesome.

This was my initial thought as well, but also now I am clamoring for an alternate timeline where HBO adapted The Walking Dead instead of AMC. I would kill to see a faithful adaptation of the comics.

But when is that game coming out? In 3-5 years at minimum?

I absolutely loved Lightyear when I finally watched it on Disney+ last week.

Trying to figure out the best way forward with the films to get people back on board does not equal dead movie theater franchise.

Star Wars has really two options when it comes to the films. Either go way into the past or go way into the future. You can look at the Jedi/Sith Wars in the past or fast forward 400 years with an adult Grogu and his adventures.

Seriously! Also the “It did something new with Star Wars!” crowd won’t date to admit that it walked back literally everything by the end of the movie.

Now all I am thinking about is how good Obi-Wan would have looked if it was actually shot on a location.

I really don’t like the animation design of the turtles and it has turned me off from checking out the series, but this looks really good.
