As long as it has some sort of backwards compatibility, it will be a day 1 purchase for me. I haven’t upgraded to the Xbox One S or X from the original launch Xbox One.

MLB wants to target a younger audience. How do you get a younger audience? Video Games! You are ignoring a huge market if the best video game from your sport can only be played on 1 of 3 main systems.
I am really happy with this first trailer. The beginning with it’s upbeat tone that then gets more grim as the trailer goes on. Egon’s grandchildren seems to be an interesting angel to take. I also believe it was a smart choice that we didn’t get a cameo by the original Ghostbusters here. This isn’t their story, but…
More importantly the characters need to take shit seriously. It’s an incredibly bizarre premise and there is an element of comedy in there, but unlike ATC (and to a certain extent GB2) the original movie took what was happening seriously. It’s why the blend of all that is so hard to replicate and make work in a film.
I feel the complete opposite. I think he is the most compelling villain that they have come up with since 1977. I will say that a lot of supplemental material has helped that cause, but it’s still there on the screen. And I absolutely HATED The Last Jedi.
That level, and the IG-88 boss fight had me rage quit countless times as a kid.
The Speeder Bikes reminded me of the Swoop Bikes from Shadows of the Empire. That’s where I screamed the most during this episode.
The Switch absolutely needs a virtual console. I don’t want to keep having to pay a fee (however small that it is) to have access to games a majority of which I have zero interest in playing. Once the price for switch online balloons (and it will) I am out.
Well in the article you cited you are conveniently only looking at the top chart (which is using L+7 Data which is incredibly flawed for many reasons) and ignoring the more important one below it of ‘Total Viewers’ which The Walking Dead is ranked 44th right behind CBS’s (literally) #16 ranked show “The Neighborhood”
That is the equivalent of saying “Adam Sandler is a comedic genius because he movies all make money”
Finally, one of the most important moments in the episode is in the bar when Greef suggests to Mando he can take his issues up with the New Republic and Mando says that’s a joke. You have to wonder if that’s the popular opinion of the time or not. Do people not care about the new government being formed? And if not,…
WTF is a holiday? This is AMERICA. SPEAK ENGLISH.
Ah completely forgot about that, but I think to a certain extent that the point still stands.
So they introduce Siddiq to help replace Carl and Rick and now everyone is basically gone. With Maggie gone, and Michone on her way out as well, the only thing fans of the original show have to hold onto is Daryl who just grunts at the camera and Carol (who admittedly is the best character on the show).
I’ve only experienced issues during the first day of the app, and I sort of expected it. I think the app has some ways to go before it can be considered great, but I think it’s far from embarrassing.
Listen the Fox Fanfare is back with the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy in 4K. This is worth Disney+ alone.
I thought this was a weird choice not just for Netflix but for CBS/Viacom. Wouldn’t they want that stuff on their own platform, rather than being on a competitor? Though $200 million dollars in cash on the books isn’t a bad thing either, perhaps a little short sighted.
I know that this is for The Mandalorian, but apparently there are some tweaks to the Original Trilogy on the Disney+ app. The Han and Greedo scene for sure.
This was everything I wanted and needed this to be and so much more.
I will never forget seeing that scene and my theater roaring in laughter at Yoda hopping around the screen. I was 15 when AoTC came out and it was my first real “Oh no” moment at the movies in my life.
