It is! And the entire concept is undermined when electors are legally bound by state law to vote for their state’s winner, even if it goes against the state’s elector’s conscience. It’s only purpose then is to disproportionally advantage smaller states.

It’s actually not hard to fathom, but there are conservatives who are basically hoping to find cancer. They’re performing tests, and are disappointed to discover that there isn’t a link between something and cancer.

I sometimes find myself enjoying the self destructive behavior displayed by Trump/GOP voters. I really shouldn’t. But it always reminds me of this great cartoon.
