I’m relevant! Not only has my family owned 4 Contours, but I had a 3.0-swapped SVT Contour.

“Having a company accept the return of an entire vehicle is rare”

Well, this was a while back, as you will clearly be able to tell, but it was the only car that beat me:

I know that’s technically a C1 but I feel like that poster is completely wrong without the 1957 model.

Cars with transmissions like this will have a manual park release button or cord somewhere. It’s for situations like that or if the battery dies on you.

This used to be a way to get a compact and very powerful air compressor... a special head bolted to one bank and some modification to the valves and/or valve timing for that bank.

Pull the rear muffler and you’ll love it a WHOLE lot more lol. They are fun, but the sound is where all the fun is.

Nice grab.

I owned a wagon in that exact color. A ‘00 v70 classic 5il automatic. What a fabulous car. It gave up almost a year ago. I've had it for almost 4 years, after having bought it at around 1500€ cash. So many work trips, so many family trips and vacations. So much fun.

I miss this car. This was the car that I learned how to wrench on.

I’m leaving VW for a pre-owned Ford this coming weekend if all goes well. Sick of the way they’ve treated owners over the years — and I owned VWs for 15 years straight. It was a nice surprised to see how much cheaper parts are at Ford dealerships — I’ve been doing my research on the accessories I want to have

That's actually fascinating

Now playing

You’re better off doing what this guy does on NYC sidewalks

How about: “D IN Mi A55 3x”

Late 90's - Early 2000's German sedan...check.
Uncommon drivetrain combination...check.
Over 200,000 miles...check.
Located waaaaaaaay north in a rust-prone area, no pictures of underside...check.
Used car lot called “Cheap Cars & Trucks”...check.

but who is using a pre-1975 car as their daily driver anyway?

Y’know what, though, I gotta hand it to the guy. He came back and said he got it. Takes some humility and maturity to do that.

You’re doing it right

Honestly it’s pretty damn nice to fly them if you pay the small surcharge for the big front seat. Getting a first class seat without first class service for a small fee is pretty awesome and totally worth the extra cost. Even with the big front seat and a carry on it’s still often over $100 cheaper than other

This is going to hurt but that design you spent three years working on is dumb. I know it sucks when you have something you think is awesome and some one shits all over it but this is one of those times.
