Nah, she’s a pretty shameless economic populist. Schiff is the better choice.

We have term limits, they’re called elections. This is why we need an informed electorate, and why incumbents should be banned from campaigning. Only challengers should be able to campaign; the incumbent’s record in office should stand for itself.

I’d be ok with age limits too.

The TLX Type-S is $56k today, so they really can’t make the Integra much more than $50 before it encroaches on their own offering.

So she’s going to be Millie Bobby Brown-Bongiovi? If they name their first child Madonna or Prince they’ll have a good chunk of 80's pop covered.

I’m guessing in the neighborhood of $50k, but they won’t build anywhere near enough, so dealers will be asking for massive adjustments. Collectors and flippers will buy them out at exaggerated prices. Then Acura will want a piece of that action and raise the price for the next model year, but the collectors and

Here is a word about Eternals 2:

Agreed. Also, umm...where are they going to park? On the (public) street? If so, then taxpayers are subsidizing the parking. Somebody always pays.

You’re not understanding my argument at all. Quoting you:

Honestly, with the skill of most drivers and the lack of paying attention ever (seriously, does anyone NOT text and drive anymore?) I would say anything with over maybe 300hp. I don’t mind super cars being on the road, but just like a heavy vehicle requires a CDL, I think super fast machines should require a special

Came here to say exactly this. Current horsepower numbers are crazy. The only reason most of these vehicles even stay on the road, is because of the litany of engineering and computer science miracles that are constantly compensation for a lack of driving skill and care.

Counterpoint... 300hp is a very solid number for most cars. Maybe not enough for hybrids that have heavy batteries.

Most of them. 10-12hp/lb is the sweet spot where you can still have fun on the street without immediately going to jail, and the car is fast enough on track to scare you (but not so fast that you can never hope to drive it at 10/10 without being a pro driver). Anything above that doesn’t have a ton of appeal to me.

The adage “if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck ... its a duck” applies here.  Scientology is a cult.

I’m like that too, but with clitorises.

Completely with you on this one, Lex.

I don’t think he does game them out, because they’re too predictable but he certainly structures them in a way that is very reminiscent of videogame fights, or bad manga/anime.

I disagree that his books are for a “non-mainstream audience”.

A lot of people significantly prefer Pearl, which is more of a character study and less of a slasher. Personally, I think 70s slasher is much more West’s forte, so I preferred X.

We’re to believe that the xenomorph rode on Ripley’s ship for all that time, implanted an embryo inside of her, but never touched Newt or Hicks? Of course they’d be dead. The only reason Ripley wasn’t killed is that she was the host for the embryo.
