Another political piece on what used to be a great car site. No matter what your politics are this used to be a place people could come together and read about cars. Now most articles are divisive clickbait. Erin you seem to miss the point of this site and aren't welcome here.

Wow. This assessment is almost as cluelessly self-regarding as Dunham herself! “got tossed from the site” HAHAHAHA... seriously? “huge brouhaha”

I don’t know if finding validation on present-era AvClub is as edifying as you’re making it out to be.

Fyi, you're dead naming Emily St. James.

I always find it amusing that the “voice of a generation” is invariably some trust-fund white girl from either LA or NY.

I agree with the OP: As a viewer, I like watching them all at once.

I have a small candle lit for Prey: this series is due a decent sequel. Of course the inevitable backlash came along from people railing about the protagonist (people who apparently have never watched a movie starring a teenager but hey ho). It’s a pity, if it IS any good, it won’t be seen in the cinema.

No formal follow up to shang chi either and that was more successful. My guess is there is a lot more to phase 6

I feel sorry for Cudi, he doesn’t deserve that. The people lobbying bottles at him don’t deserve their tickets.

Commuting on a 900lb Goldwing would be brutal. Sure, your ass will thank you but they are not designed for tooling around town. Unless it’s all interstate speeds, just get a 300-500cc bike that you wouldn’t shed a tear about if you yeeted it into low earth orbit. Hell, my CB500X is perfectly happy at 75mph with my

I’m not defending the waste, but I doubt Ms. Jenner was on the airplane at the time. It sounds like a positioning flight, which is a flight not made in order to get a passenger from point “A” to point “B,” but to get the airplane from A to B for a logistical reason. E.g., the passenger needs to go from Denver to

This is the case in the original novel as well.

In the book Eli was a castrated boy, but I don’t remember that being part of the movie. When Eli says “I’m not a girl” I always thought they were just referring to the fact they were a vampire.

Eli does seem to identify as a girl, but you’re right that we’re shown she has been castrated, and it feels disappointing that both American adaptations have dropped that aspect.

Edit: I just remembered that Eli also says “I’m not a girl” so you’re right

The [original] film is about a relationship between an isolated bullied boy and an isolated lonely girl, who we learn is a vampire,” showrunner Andrew Hinderaker told EW.”

Wasn’t the vampire in LTROI a boy who had his junk bitten off? Or am I mixing up my vampire properties?

Thank you!!!! I have written volumes about how ungainly and disjointed the C8 styling is. The unfortunate side-effect of the bad design strategy, is that the whole car ends up looking cheap.

They are shining examples of the most disjointed front/rear styling I think I’ve ever seen. It looks like the designers originally had a fantastic vision that was promptly ruined when some awful person at GM brought up the stupid golf club storage thing.

The first C8 I saw on the road was Caffeine and I didn’t really care for it
